since we live on base, we had to register our puppy. I was in and out of there in less than 15 mins. very little paperwork, make sure to bring in the micro ID number and shot records. there was a $ 25 fee to register your pet. it was a quick and easy process. even had some time afterwards to check out the dogs that are up for adoption.

I don’t understand why you have to «register» your pets here when you move to Pendleton, especially when they are already up to date on their tags and if they go into a vet’s office, they can be scanned for a microchip… But, I’m so glad that they have these animals available to those who are on base and looking OR are able to pick up animals that may have been lost on base without people having to go to shelters off base, etc.

We showed up here 6 years ago at a time when my young daughter was going through a difficult time. A dog came up to her and they quickly bonded. The staff/trainer was amazed, because the dog had been timid for the 3 weeks since it had been found wandering the streets. Rescuing Charlie played a big part in rescuing our daughter from a troubled time. We visited this shelter a few times during the adoption process. Everyone was so friendly, caring and quite professional. I very much appreciated the care taken and would return here to adopt an animal without reservation. Good job, and Thank You!

I absolutely love this place, animals and staff. I picked up our little guy and added him to our Zoo, it is hard to believe he has been with us for 5+ years. He has been a joy and continually makes us laugh. He is dynamite in a small package.

This is a good place. I adopted one of my cats from this shelter. The people working there really do care about the animals. Adoption costs are reasonable and the facility is clean. You’ll want to take all of them home!!!
