Franklyn Men

This is my first time an Franklyn. I got a simple man’s haircut. Great job on the cut. Blended my salt and pepper nicely. The music was hip, love Thievery Corporation. My stylist was a great conversationalist. And they have beverages that I did not try. Definitely will go back next time I am in town.

I visited there for the first time today. I was nothing less then impressed. Heather was amazing. To put it another way I will only go here from now on to get my hair cut. I also had my first ever shave. Very professional and experienced. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area that is looking for a professional shave or cut.
I have been around the world getting my hair cut being in the military. Heather has by far been the best.

I’ve been going to Franklyn ever since it opened in 2007. If you are a guy in the midstate, this may be the best men’s hair salon in the area. Tina has been my stylist from the very beginning and I can’t be more pleased with her. The focus is on men without all the trappings of a women’s salon. Club chairs, free wifi, and ESPN — you can’t ask for anything more. A+

OK, I usually don’t do reviews about anything other than restaurants, but I see my favorite place to get my hair cut didn’t have any reviews?
I have been going to Franklyn Men for about 3 years I guess. Don’t confuse this with Franklyn Studio. Two separate places.
The first thing you notice when you go thru the door is the swanky décor. Its casual, but yet elegant. They have nice comfy over-​sized chairs to sit in and wait while you enjoy a complimentary beer or wine from their bar. They also have nice mags to read like wine spectator, which i enjoy. Its nice to have something a little more upscale to read other then the garbage you are forced to look at in the dentist office.
The staff are all very friendly. I see Shelly every time and she is very personable and gives me a great haircut. She makes good suggestions and does a thorough job all the way around. You get a consultation, a shampoo, a cut, a neck shave, a hot towel, and gel or a blow dry if you prefer.
I think this is a great place for guys looking for an upscale experience and a great haircut. Yes, its more expensive then the barber, but you do get some nice extras.
No reason to stop going. Very pleased!

I really look forward to getting my haircut at Franklyn for Men. Great relaxing atmosphere w/​a lounge and bar area. Want a beer, soda, or glass of wine? No problem… it’s on the house! The true value is in the service. Friendly and Professional. Tina cuts my hair. She always finds the balance between professional and stylish that I am looking for. Doug and the other stylists are excellent also. Brooke is always very helpful with my scheduling requirements.
