Terrible. Parking is horrendous. Staff unpleasant. So concered about drinking yet everyone is smoking pot. Been here a few times and haven’t had a good experiene yet. Will not be revisiting.

Such a sorry excuse for a venue, but what else can you expect in Camden, NJ. Absolutely terrible location for a venue with horrible excuses for a «security.» I attended the Radio 104.5 birthday show yesterday and after this experience, I will not be attending anymore shows at the BB&T pavilion. Yesterday was extremely hot and humid and the entire covered section of the venue had no air whatsoever. Towards the end of the concert, my sister became light-headed from the heat and had to leave because she couldn’t take the humidity. Imagine being in this crowded venue with no air or fans blowing. It’s ridiculous for summer concerts. As we left the venue, we saw numerous golf carts with security personnel driving around(doing nothing, might I add), so we showed the staff my sisters medical card and asked if someone in would drive us down to our car so she didn’t have to walk such a far distance while she was light-headed. The security guard told us that we should have an EMT in the medical center of the pavilion look at her before proceeding to our car, then afterwards, someone would give us a ride down to our car on a golf cart. The EMT’s put my sister in a wheelchair and took her back to the medical center, where they told me I wasn’t allowed to be with her. So we got separated and I was told to sit outside of the medical center in the dark, at midnight in the streets of Camden. Sounds safe for a girl all by herself, right? Then after wasting our time at the medical center(all they did was take her blood pressure and say, «wow! That’s high!» And give her some Gatorade), I sat and waited for my husband to pick us up(he grabbed the car while I was outside the medical center). The traffic was extremely horrible as everyone was trying to leave the venue so it was going on an hour and my husband still hadn’t moved an inch from the parking lot. This is the best part of the night… the medical center wanted to close and didn’t feel like waiting for my sister and I to get picked up, so they were kicked us out on the streets of Camden to sit alone in the dark until my husband showed up. I approached two security guards and asked if someone would drive us down on a golf cart to our car so we wouldn’t have to sit on the street alone, or walk down to the parking lot which was extremely far. Might I add, that we were originally promised by the first security guard that we would be taken down to our car on a golf cart after an EMT looked at my sister. So the security guard looks at us and with a very stern voice says to us, «We can’t transfer people by golf cart. You won’t get grabbed by anyone… Just start walking fast.» We told them that we felt uncomfortable and that two girls shouldn’t walk alone in the streets of Camden to their car this late and they said«tough luck.» Please tell me what the point of having«security» guards is when they clearly aren’t looking out for your safety at all after a comment like this is made. So not only did they take my sister further away from our car to the medical center, leaving us a further distance to walk when she was dizzy and light-headed, they also kicked us out on the streets when they wanted to close, told us that we should walk by ourselves after the concert was over and no one was around at midnight. I’m shocked that they offer to take you to the medical center and don’t make sure you get back to your car safely. And I’m even more shocked 2 men that work here would tell us that we’d be safe walking the streets of Camden alone for a ten minute walk by ourselves. If they had daughters of their own, I’d love to see them ask their daughters to do the same thing as well. My husband had no other choice but to get out of his car, walk to us so we weren’t on the streets alone, and then we all walked another 10 – 15 mins in the dark alone in the streets of Camden to our car which was extremely unsafe and scary, to say the least. I’d also like to add, that I asked where the handicapped parking was when we first arrived at the venue and the staff told us that there was none(BS). Moral of the story: do not go to the medical center unless you are extremely hurt or ill. The staff is worthless, unhelpful, extremely rude, and plain stupid and uneducated. Clearly, they aren’t looking out for your safety as my sister and I were left to fend for ourselves and could have been killed, hurt or raped walking back to our car. We are extremely grateful that we ended the night safely and back in our car 2 hours later without the help of the BB&T’s «security.» Way to go, guys.

After reading more seemingly negative reviews while planning, I was kinda skeptical about the venue and the Camden area. I’m not sure why so many people complain about apparently everything in life. If you plan accordingly, you should have no problem. Had no issues driving in(like waiting 2 hours to get in and missing part of the show, like others) you can’t expect to drive up within an hour of showtime and not expect to hit traffic and end up being late, that’s foolish. Only negative is $ 30 for parking and $ 12 beers. But that’s kinda typical for venues. Parking always ridiculously priced and beers are usually around $ 10 a pop anywhere I’ve been. Which is understandable, don’t need people getting more drunk and stupid than normal on top of tailgating. Took a weekend«vacation» and drove 7 hours from Ohio for the show. Was right behind the pit for twenty one pilots(radio 104.5’s bday show«fest») 7÷11÷16. First time to Philly/Camden area. Stayed in a hotel near the airport, found a little bar«the pizza pub» around 20th on the south side. Didn’t look like much, but was a great little neighborhood bar, bartenders were nice, and the local crowd was friendly as well. Acted like a tourist and went and took pics with the liberty bell and had lunch the next day downtown at La Scala. Awesome Italian place! Didn’t have one bad experience with people the whole 2 nights there. Not sure why there’s so many whiners in the world. You’ve got your good and bad anywhere you go. concert was amazing, venue was great! Overall great first experience of Philadelphia. I’ll definitely be back!

One may wonder what the hell a venue like this is doing in the dregs of Camden; one will continue to wonder into perpetuity methinks, for I have not the answer. The only thing I know is that I brave the byways to this location annually(rolling deep of course), to do my year’s worth of laughing at the Oddball comedy festival(where the comedy industry’s best, brightest, and ultimately most depressed comics come out and do their thing). The facilities are quite spacious, with gorgeous views of the Philadelphia skyline adjacent to the Delaware River giving fragments of hope that the wasteland, which this venue is squandered on, can step up as a sister city to the City of Brotherly Love. Large parking lots to accommodate the mess of vehicular commuters, the PATCO train line from Philly to Camden just a short walk away, and vast venue grounds to enjoy whatever event it is that you’re there to see are just some of the standards that one could expect if they were to come here to visit. Just remember, stay safe, go in large numbers, and don’t get too drunk/high/loaded during and especially after you get out of this place… a friend of a friend figured to be an easy target for the hoodlums that lurk the outskirts(for those drivers who opted for street parking in lieu of paying the $ 15-$ 20 for grounds parking); he ultimately ended up in the hospital with a busted nose and empty wallet circa Oddball 2014… so don’t be that dude and keep your head on straight.

Way to utterly drop the ball tonight, Saturday 12⁄19. We were stuck in traffic like everyone else, and ended up going home. Wasted $ 110 on tickets and over 2 hours of our time. Each and every one of the thousands stuck in traffic who missed the show should receive refunds due to your failure to properly manage your facility. A previous poster said the parking lots were understaffed — that’s unacceptable. We all paid MONEY for tickets. We expect to be able to get to the venue and enjoy what we paid for. I will NEVER again attend an event at this place. Absolutely disgraceful.

I came here with friends recently for the first time to see a comedy show. We took the ferry in. They have a lot of food/beer vendors with the typical jacked up prices you would see at any concert venue. There were seats but we had lawn seats. We sat at the top of the hill and could see the whole show. There was fireworks from across the river, near spruce street, that was beautiful against the sunset but actually distracting and loud during the show. We also rented beach chairs for $ 5. They also had large screen tvs for the poor-sighted. I’m not sure how good the sound would be for a music concert since they don’t have good acoustics. I’m giving this place a 3 because the quality of sounds was just alllriighhtt and everything was very expensive.

This place is a good concert venue If you get the seats that are covered if not then you are likely to get rained on. It is a cool venue to see a concert or in my case a graduation so I wouldn’t tell anyone to go here, what I will say however is to avoid driving and try to take the river line in for the fact it drops you off in front and it makes my life easier living on Cooper st coming and going when there is a concert. Just saying

When my friend got tickets to see Nicki Minaj I was thrilled. When I heard we had to go to Camden I was less than thrilled. But alas we made the journey to NJ. Reading reviews about the venue at the hotel before heading there I was imagining a pit surrounded by car jackers. Even my best friend that lives in Hawthorne told me «go straight to the venue from the car». When we got to Susquehanna I was pleasantly surprised though. The place was fine. The checking in process was easy and we had our tickets scanned and walked right in. There were lots of vendors selling food and merch but we didn’t stop for any. Finding our seats was easy and there were helpful employees at the top of every section directing people to their seats. There is an outer grassy area that people can get cheaper tickets for and auditorium seating under the pavilion where we were seated. The aisles and floors were spotless. The seats were a little small but I’m not exactly a small person so that’s debatable for some. The sound system was fine, we could hear and see everything perfectly. During the concert there were a couple fights but that was to be expected. They didn’t get broken up as quick as you would think but they weren’t next to me so I couldn’t get a good view of the situation, just heard yelling and saw a surge in the crowd. And after the concert everyone walked to their cars/the train peacefully as far as I know. All in all it was a pleasant experience and a great performance from Nicki. I’d go to another concert here, as long as I have seats under the pavilion.

I really love seeing shows here especially on a comfortable spring or summer night. The view of the Delaware River is a great backdrop to a good show. However, the problem lies in the cost of not only the food and drinks within the venue, but also getting there and parking. If you want the convenience of your car expect to spend $ 50+ on top of your ticket as parking is never under $ 30. If you want to take a taxi your fare will never be under $ 20 due to the toll fee, traffic jams on the bridge etc and expect to walk a bit to get to the venue as they can’t drop you off close by. The best way to get to the venue is the River Line or the Ferry but good luck on the way home as they are both extremely crowded. Still I’ve always had good experiences whenever attending an event here. You just have to know how to do it right. Carpool with a lot of people, get there early, tailgate, leave the show before the mass exodus.

I hadn’t been in here since my days of going to Warped Tour throughout my childhood, but I came here last night to see Incubus(which was AMAZEBALLS). I didn’t mind the venue. I read some of the other reviews and do think people are judging it a little overboard. Yes… it’s a venue. Prices for everything are high! Just like ANYWHERE else you go to concerts or sporting events. I don’t bother complaining about that stuff because it’s expected. I don’t drink, but did notice there are A LOT of options for different craft beers. There’s also a «Whiskey and Cigar» stand that seemed pretty cool and I would be all over it if I still drank. They have a «normal» concession stand and of course the Chickie’s and Pete’s fry stands. They also had Rita’s and a new vendor created by Guy Fieri. I split a burger and fry with someone from the Guy stand… it was actually delicious. Yes the burger was 14 dollars, yes the fries were 6.25… but again, it was a concert… but that food didn’t let me down. People smoke weed. People smoke cigarettes. That’s life. I don’t do either anymore and could give less a shit about who’s doing what. It’s going to happen. There will be drunk people. Again… that’s life. I was in the lawn. Best 21 dollars I ever spent, so I can’t complain. There are chair rentals available if you don’t bring anything to sit on. I don’t mind sitting in the grass. Just come prepared if you sit by the wall, because that is the litter box for Canadian Geese(not the venues fault). However, when the main band plays… everyone usually ends up standing anyway. I had no problem moving around or getting to any of the bathrooms. I never even had to wait in a line. If you decide to hang out in the beer/food area, there are plenty of lunch tables to sit at. I do hear that parking is pretty steep… I took the ferry over for $ 7 round trip since I have a free spot to park nearby.

When to see the pink print tour yesterday & this is the ratchetest place I’ve ever been to in my life. Lawn patrons were jumping the fence making their way to other people’s rows that had purchased seat. it smelled like weed EVERYWHERE. Booze containers and chip containers all over the ground and half ass security pat downs. The opening acts sound sucked and were a mess. The crowd was ages 10 – 18 smh shall I say more !? They were so trashy and disgusting, standing on chairs, no shoes and half naked. Once Nicki preformed I was ready to go !! I never will return to this venue. It’s a joke. When it came to leaving the concert ended at 11, I didn’t get back to my hotel until about 1am. Smh ridiculous.

I’ve attended this venue a few times; for a Chicago concert, Lionel Richie concert, and most recently a Neil Young concert. I really like the open walking and seating area with plenty of choices for craft beers and your typical stadium food. The indoor seating is preferred though if the weather is exceptionally nice with low humidity the lawn area is bearable. Plenty of police presence is reassuring. My one complaint is that the parking is extremely high — $ 30; while premium parking at the higher quality stadiums across the river top out at $ 25.

Went to Susquehanna Bank Center a few nights ago to watch Foo Fighters play and I have to say that it was a bit of a disappointment, not because of the Foo Fighters(because they were awesome) but because the venue was terrible. The sound wasn’t loud enough. I didn’t feel like I was in a concert, but rather the noise/sound was projected onto me. Not sure if that makes sense but if you know what I mean, yeah, the experience wasn’t immersive. And I felt like the showmanship of the Foo Fighters was limited also because of the facilities available to them. The stage and all is just set up weird, in my opinion. Of all the venue’s I’ve been to, enormous to an intimate theater, this was probably the worst. And quite honestly, I’m not surprised now that the tickets were cheaper than I thought they would be initially. And don’t get me started on pedestrian exits and parking. If there was ever a fire or something, I bet you only 10% of the attendees would get out safely. I know exiting any stadium is a recipe for a bad traffic jam but this venue is so unorganized with their parking and exits. Just an absolute mess. Take the train in if you have the option if all possible. If you must drive, then drive and park outside of the venue a few blocks away because 1) it’s cheaper than parking at the center 2) you’ll have somewhat of a fighting chance getting out of the traffic jam in less than 2 hours. I love the Foo Fighters but the experience was a letdown because of the venue. Also, it’s in Camden. That should be enough said.

I can’t believe I’m writing this review because while I’ve been here a few times over the years, I’ve never been overly impressed with the place. But in prepping for the Foo Fighters show on July 13, 2015, I read some reviews. That«prep work» made my experience much closer to five stars than it was to two stars. Transportation: I read all about the parking prices. The nightmare getting out of the lots. So I took PATCO. You get off at Broadway station, and walk for 10 minutes down a main street filled with people and cops. It’s safe. It’s cheap. It’s fast. The show ended at 11:15pm. I was on a train at 11:42pm and at the stop where I parked by 11:52pm. No siting in traffic. No $ 30 fee. Park at Collingswood Station, or Westmont Station if you are in Jersey. Food: The food and drink selections were fine. We stopped at Wawa on the way to get some sandwiches and ate them on the train. This is an entertainment arena. Things cost what they cost. They aren’t going to sell you a hot dog for a dollar. So just eat before you walk in. Crowds: I arrived at 6:15pm for a 7pm start. Doors had been open since 6pm. The place was pretty empty. We were in the pit, and had time to look at merch, grab a drink, go to the bathroom, and still get two rows back in front/center of the stage. I kept looking behind me and it seemed to not fill in until well after the opener was finished. The Pit: Wow. This experience is what made me decide to write this review. First, the weird thing about the Pit is that the closer to the front you went, the LESS crowded together we were. I think that’s because we all got there early, staked our spot, make friends with our neighbors, and kept a wide berth. People coming later had to cram into the back of the Pit. So get there early. Midway through Foo Fighters, I kept seeing people around me with big glasses of water, taking a sip and passing them around. Turns out the security in the Pit was providing this so that we stayed hydrated. That’s pretty above and beyond in my book, and I give a major tip of the hat to SBC for taking care of us. Sound: I don’t know. I was three rows from the stage. Dave Grohl’s sweat almost hit me when he flipped his hair. I was probably hearing the monitors more than the PA. From the past, I recall the sound is just okay. But really, shell out a little extra for the Pit, and you won’t care about the perfection of the sound. Thanks, SBC, for a great night. Thanks PATCO for making my arrival and departure stress free and low cost. Thanks Unilocalers for reviews to help insure that we had a great night.

Saw the Foo Fighters concert here on 7÷6÷2015. They sounded great and the show was awesome! However, the venue itself leaves a lot to be desired, in my opinion. 1. Parking — There is a lot of it but it is not very organized and EXPENSIVE. $ 30 to park in an unsecured lot. The police(Sheriff’s Dept. actually) were not very helpful when asked where to go. They would just angrily wave you to turn left or right. Security is non-existent in the lots and you could actually operate your own still in the lot if you wanted to. I love tailgating but some people just take it too far and ruin it for others. 2. Food and Drink Prices — I know to expect higher priced food and beverages at these venues, but $ 13 for a 22 oz. domestic beer is just plain taking advantage of people. And once the venue fills in for the main show there is insufficient staff on hand to serve food and drinks efficiently. Besides, you get a wristband after showing ID to purchase alcohol, but then you still have to show your ID for every purchase(kind of redundant and inefficient). 3. Security — Simply non-existent. There was a fist fight between two individuals four rows in front of me and security was nowhere to be found. Also, as another Unilocaler mentioned, people were clearly smoking cigarettes and pot but not a single thing was done about it. 4. After-show Traffic — HORRENDOUS! If there is any other way you can get there besides driving do it! It took over an hour to get out of the city after the concert because traffic control was non-existent. All the intersections leading to 676 and 30 were on blink mode and drivers had to fend for themselves. A lot of road rage and drivers cutting others off and driving the wrong way in the opposite lane because they were tired of sitting in traffic. It was utterly ridiculous and neither the Sheriff’s Dept. or County Police were anywhere to assist with traffic control. Thank goodness the Foo Fighters were that good because otherwise the night would have been an utterly total waste of money. Unless The Beatles reunite I will not be returning.

I’ve been here only one time last year(2014), for The Moonshine Jungle Tour– Bruno Mars concert. I assure you, unless Michael Jackson comes back from the dead to sing here, I will not be coming back. Here is why: 1) We had lawn tickets, and of course, we had a very bad view, actually NO view. Pro Tip: If you really want to go for your most favorite performer concert, I highly suggest you purchase seats the under the pavilion. If you get the lawn tickets, then your pink dream of a lovely picnic, will remain a dream. 2) Lawn was packed. Pro Tip: Come early!!! Or you won’t find a tiny space on the lawn to rest your butt. 3) Parking was not cheap, not by any stretch of the imagination. Pro Tip: Pay $ 7 and take the ferry if you can; they will be operating 30 minutes after any event here. 4) People were smoking, SMOKINGPOT, and they were not stopped. I’m sure I didn’t miss legalizing it in Camden. Pro Tip: There is no tip, you’ll be secondhand smoker. Oh well! 5) Sound was horrible, at least on the lawn. Pro Tip: BUYTHEDARNUNDERTHEPAVILIONTICKETS!!! 6) Food and drinks cost a fortune(expected). Pro Tip: One word: TAILGATE! Two Unilocal are very generous.

Attended the DMB concert here on 6÷26÷2015. This was our first time at this venue. Not sure why all the negative comments, we really enjoyed this venue. We drove to Philly from Central NY and spent the weekend in Philly. We took the ferry over from Penn’s Landing. For $ 7 round trip this was well worth it. No problems entering the venue. Was very impressed with the drink and food options at the venue. We had already ate in Philly so we did not eat at the venue. But we did get a drink. Was very impressed with the craft beer selections. We had beer from 21st Amendment Brewery. Drinks were $ 13 but that is expected at a concert in my opinion. Our tickets were for the lawn. The sound out on the lawn was excellent. There were big screens placed around the stage so we always could see the concert. The best part of the lawn is the upper deck that has great views of the Philly skyline. No issues with taking the ferry back to Penn’s Landing. Would definitely come back to this venue to see a show. Hopefully DMB Summer 2016!

The venue itself is fun! It’s right on the water so you can catch a nice breeze. Haven’t been in the lawn since high school so can’t speak to that but there’s really not a bad seat in the house. The food isn’t good-well the pizza wasn’t. I was there all day Sunday for a festival and that was the worst part. Great beer selection! But the cheapest one is 13 bucks so bring your money honey:)

Visited for the 8th birthday show of @radio1045. The first half of the event was general admission, anyone could get close to the stage. The second half was assigned seating in which the stadium was emptied and people were let back in to the appropriate place where they could find their assigned seat. During the general admission people that wanted to sit in their assigned seats were going to the event staff and asking to have other people removed from the seats they had tickets for. Let me remind you that this was during the general admission portion of the show. This made me very upset because during general admission seats are first come first serve. One cannot simply walk up to a seat, show a ticket for that seat, and expect to sit there BEFORE assigned seating starts. We saw this at least twice. It was always middle aged adults pulling rank of teens. This infuriates me. I strongly recommend the Susquehanna Bank Center update and train their event staff. I’d like Radio 1045 to find a different venue for their 9th birthday show. A venue that doesn’t screw kids. I’ve never been a concert person and this type of social injustices really grinds my gears. Christopher R put it best, «I am willing to see shows here, but would prefer not to.»
