Just returned from a two week bus and train trip to Reno, San Francisco, and Northern California coast and Redwood Forest. The scenery, the Rockies and high desert, by train, Sacramento, and San Francisco was breath taking. The California coast and the Redwoods were amazing. During the two week trip there was not one hitch. Every connection, motel and tour was flawless.
What made the trip a challenge was the attitude of the tour guide. Treating his guests and contractors with dignity and respect seemed to be an impossibility. Customer service on the trip is the part of the business and tour that need a lot of improvement to make the trip enjoyable.
