Western Market

I’ve just got four words for you: beef patty with cheese.
If you aren’t going in for one of these (read: two of these) for lunch, then you obviously don’t know what you are missing out on. Go git it! Go now!
They are open early enough in the morning for me to stop right before I head into work, if I need something to drink, or forgot to bring lunch.
The people are nice, they sell lottery and a plethora of drinks, along with a bunch of last minute house needs — at a fairly basic convenience store price.
Sometimes it’s hot as hades in here when you least expect it, so don’t plan on getting lost in the aisles cause you might not be dressed appropriately for the weather.
Around the holidays they usually carry pies locally baked to support charity/​church programs. Just ask.

Western Market is about 2 blocks from the Western Ave Corporation and across the street from Pizza Ring. Between this place and Western Ave Corp., I’m convinced that, aside from the corporate behemoth 7 – 11 there are no good convenience stores in Cambridge.
This place has a really meager selection of everything but chips and warm sodas. As for the records promised by the sign? I have yet to see ‘em, sorry.
