Stunning remote lake in NE New Hampshire. Most sites are accessible by water only. Our crew stayed at R26 on Tyler Point. The site occupied the entire tip of the point and is both in NH and ME, with state line markers running through the woods, kinda neat. Word of warning, the lake was extremely windy and is is a deceivingly large body of water so if there is a north or south wind the waves will get pretty serious if you are paddling into your site. You can charter a pontoon boat to bring your gear, campers, and boats. I think that is like 50 bucks each way, which may be preferable for inexperienced paddlers or kids, some sites are as far away as 11 miles from the park. I don’t even know why I wrote this review, I don’t ever want the outside world to find out about this place.
