The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

This is a fantastic congregation to visit. I am grateful that I have the chance to come here weekly and gather with others on how to strengthen my relationship with Jesus Christ. Visitors are always welcome.

The people who attend services here have always been very warm, kind, and friendly to me and to the visitors I’ve brought to church. Services are conducted in a three-​hour block, though the meeting where the Sacrament is passed is usually the first of the three hour meetings. Sermons encompass a wide variety of topics but most focus on Jesus Christ and how we can try to be more like him. I’ve found that especially helpful in the rush of daily life.
Music is a key part of worship services at this chapel. Nearly every meeting begins and ends with a song (if you don’t sing, no worries! Just listen.) and there are often special choir or individual musical numbers. Speakers and teachers for the meetings are regular attenders asked to impart of their wisdom; so every meeting is different!
Before this chapel burned in May 2009, it was the oldest Mormon chapel in Massachusetts. Construction is under-​way and the building should be rededicated in late Summer 2011.
