Well. When I am quoted over a thousand for a hd extraction, and they diagnose the issue over the course of a day or so. it makes me wonder how «difficult» the problem is to address which merited such a high estimate. «Oh we’ll just drag and drop and burn it on a cd or charge you extra for a new hard drive» .and just take care of it real quick. Really?!
OR, after some confrontation about the price/​difficulty of the service, they will whittle it down to $ 600 with a positive Unilocal review?! Umm. So, they basically told me it wasn’t a difficult job and they were robbing me.
Do NOT go here unless you have cash to throw away.
And if you’d like to see the video of this exchange… By all means.

Alfred and his team at Techfusion (Brandon was our case worker) was extremely helpful and professional, keeping us updated with our case and very reasonable when it came to fees, etc. I will definitely use them again should the need arise as well as recommend them to anyone looking for tech help. Brandon kept us updated with our case and was very informative and responsive to our questions, explaining the work as they went along, both over the phone and in writing. They are all very knowledgeable in their field and a pleasure to work with!

The owner Alfred, yelled at me on the phone and told me I was acting like a child. Literally he would not let me talk on the phone, every time I tried to speak he would start raising his voice, he claimed that I was putting words in his mouth when I asked about why the price had tripled… then he hung up on me. 15 min after he hung up on me, he calls back on a restricted number and apologizes. Too late Alfred. I’m ashamed that I didn’t read all of your horrible Unilocal reviews before I tried doing business with you. This guy is a scam. Stay far away.

These are the top experts in the business of data recovery. For many jobs they will be overkill (and seem overpriced) but for many others there’s not likely to be anyone else who can do it.

When they «fixed» my computer it crashed again within a month. The Apple Store said they put in a used hard disk and charged me for a new one. I tried to get satisfaction from the owner but he was useless. If you care about your computer don’t go to these guys.
