Tapestry Feminist Counseling

I have been seeing Debby for years and have to agree with Jason’s assessment. She does really listen and make the conversation feel just like that, a conversation. It feels like talking to a friend.
I am very surprised to see a negative review, especially one that says she is difficult to work with through insurance. A few years ago my insurance couldn’t figure out how to pay her properly. As I recall, she saw me for several months without receiving payment from my insurance while they were working out their issues. She also went out of her way to speak with me while I was living out of state and trying to find a new therapist.
I have only good things to say about Debby’s ability and how easy she is to work with.

I started coming to Tapestry for therapy in November 2009, and I’ve been working with Debby Rosenkrantz. I’ve been very happy with her: she’s a genuine person, she really focuses on and listens to what I say, I can tell she really cares, and she offers helpful advice and counseling. Also she has a tremendous amount of therapeutic experience, and a progressive, non-​judgmental approach. Based on my experience with Debby, I have a high opinion of Tapestry.
