My bf stumbled upon this place on his way back from work and it’s quickly become a staple in our weekly grocery shopping. They have a great selection of tofu products! From actual tofu(silken to firm) to dou hua(tofu pudding?) to soy milk, this place makes my nutritionist proud! Be sure to use the green door that looks like it’s not for customers. Not the office looking door. Once you go in there’s a desk in the back right corner with a picture menu to select from. Prices are really reasonable compared to hmart esp for the freshness and quality!

This is not a typical retail food shop. It’s a factory that happens to sell to the public. It’s definitely worth a trip if you love tofu and soy products. They have a sign on the main storefront indicating to enter through the door to the right. When you open the door, a loud buzzer will go off but it’s OK. Just keep going and you’ll see you’re in a sort of car port /storage area and the factory is toward the back. A man working saw us and waved us over to a small counter where I was able to point to items I wanted from a picture menu. The had packaged tofu either uncooked or fried. And they had Tofu Puffs which are a new favorite! They also offered soy milk, soy curd and a few other specialty items. They are still CASHONLY.

The tofu is better than a lot of the brands you can find at H-Mart and the like, but it’s a strange experience to shop here! It’s cheaper from the factory than from a grocery store, but they don’t post hours and don’t have a «store» in the traditional sense of the word. I did call a while ago and was told the hours were: 9:00−4:30 M-F 9:00−4:00 Saturday closed on Sunday CASHONLY, and I have no idea if these are«firm» hours, or if there is some degree of flexibility. Probably best not to plan on shopping right before they close. There’s a sorta standard looking entrance with what looks like a desk/reception area — but it’s not the entrance! You have to enter on the right, and you walk into a place it looks like you’re not supposed to be. Ahead you can see a large area past an open doorway that is the actual factory floor. Just before and to the right of this doorway is where they keep everything for selling to walk ins — a list of everything they sell, and a a bare bones till. People will be walking around working, and eventually someone will notice you. They may or may not speak a fluent English, so you might need to do the«point and pay» method of shopping. :) Best place for decent and cheap tofu ^_^
