Nice people, but tough on buttons. I’ve used Imperial for a few months for laundering my shirts, and I’ve noticed in the last few weeks that several buttons on several shirts are cracked, chipped, or just plain missing. I understand the occasional lost button, but this is two or more buttons on three shirts, all within the space of three weeks. The actual cleaning and pressing is fine, but I’m moving on to a different cleaner.

I am new to the area and am looking for a dry cleaners. Imperial is located close to my route home. However, I will NOT be returning to this establishment. As a trial run, I took in 5 shirts to be laundered and pressed(no starch). Service was about 3 days as I dropped them off late on a Monday. When I picked them up on Wednesday, I got them home only to find that the pressing job of 4 out of the 5 was horrible! It was so bad I will not even take them back. There were creases all over the shirts and they cannot be worn until they are repressed. I am extremely disappointed in this company.

I’ve been going to this dry cleaner for four years. I have them do my dry cleaning, and if that’s all you use them for, then I would give them 5 stars. The price is right, and they do a consistently good job. My review of 2 stars is for their alteration services. For three years, I’ve brought my son’s newly purchased pants in for alterations to the length. Each year, a man had him try on a pair, made the markings, and then charged me $ 5 a pair of pants to do the hemming. This year, I brought in four pairs of new pants and asked for the same service. This time a woman took us back and had my son try on a pair, and made the markings. She then proceeded to charge me $ 15 for each pair of pants! I, of course, balked at the price and told her that I’d been coming for years and it was $ 5 a pair. She completely shut me down and told me «No, you went to another place, not this one!» Um, I think I know where I’ve been going. I was polite, but she insisted. I paid the $ 15. It wasn’t just the outrageous price to hem a pair of pants. When she returned the pants, the hem was not sewn in with a machine, it was tacked in by hand, with giant loopy/loose stitches that lasted exactly two months! I had to take the pants elsewhere and have them redone and pay again. $ 60 for four pairs of pants hemmed with loose tack stitching that fell out after a few months. I’ll never go back. Again, to be completely fair, I’ve had no complaint with their dry cleaning prices, or quality of work. But the experience with the pricing on alterations, coupled with the extreme rudeness of the lady I dealt with, lead me to leave this review and not return.

I took my wedding dress to a dry cleaners in Salmon Creek that said they could get the dirt out. They ended up not getting the dirt out and told me no one would be able to. I then took my dress here to the cleaners in Camas and what do you know? They got the dirt out! I wish I would’ve gone to them first because my dress sat too long at the other cleaners so there are a few spots that the dirt is still there but because the dress is ivory color it’s very hard to tell. They are very friendly, helpful, and reasonably priced!
