We contacted Cascade 3 weeks prior to the beginning of our desired pic-up window. We were moving from Las Vegas to Dallas and needed an enclosed carrier to transport our 1968 Chevy Camaro convertible prior to our departure because we had no one to leave the car with. After receiving several quotes we decided to go with Cascade who we had used 1 ½ years prior. At that time we received great service from Jeff — not so this time. If I could, I would retract my previous positive review about the company because I wouldn’t want anyone going through what we experienced this time around. The contact person this time was MALIA. She was a nightmare to work with. Prior to us agreeing to use them she was responsive and cordial. Once we agreed to use them and she put a hold on our credit card for the deposit, everything changed. She was unresponsive and condescending. Just days before the beginning of our desired pick-up window we still had heard nothing from her and called to check-in. At that point she had not contracted with a carrier and she informed us she would keep us updated. That didn’t happen. The day before the beginning of the pick-up window we called again. She was rude and unhelpful. When I asked her what her plan was if the car wasn’t picked up within the next couple of days she stated that«it wasn’t fair to her» to look at other alternatives until after pick-up window was over. WHAT!!! I was going to be 1,200 miles away by then. At that point we realized we needed to do a quick course correction. I got in touch with several other transport companies. Two of them pulled up our listing and informed us that it was listed for too low, on the low end of what an open-carrier would cost, that they were not at all surprised we found ourselves without an enclosed carrier. Not only that but she had never increased the amount she was going to pay the carrier to make it more attractive. Mind you, no matter what she paid the carrier, I was still paying the same. At that point we attempted to contact her but by this time she was not taking my calls. So, I called from a blocked number. And, guess what happened. She picked up the phone on the first ring! A miracle! After a heated conversation we cut the cancer and contracted with Executive Auto Shippers who were wonderful! We paid the exact same amount as what Melia had quoted EXCEPT our car was actually picked up!

I had never needed to ship a car before, and I found nothing about it on Unilocal.I did find another review site that was set up for just vehicle transport companies, and Cascade had the highest ranking and countless positive reviews. I had never heard of the site before, so I did some more diggine and found that they came up with an A rating on BBB despite not being a member(pretty good if you ask me). I really needed to get my newly acquired pride and joy from Rhode Island to Arizona, so I sent an email. Within minutes I got a response from Diane, and a quote for not the cheapest, but not even close to the most expensive I had received. I called and Diane was available in minutes, patiently answered all of my questions. I gave her a deposit and my car was listed as available for pickup. Because it was the holiday season, it took a little more time than other people may experience but within 2 weeks my car was on a truck. I received my car in the exact same condition it left in, and Diane kept in contact the whole time. The transport driver was friendly, and called a few hours before the delivery, giving a 3 hour window. He called again to narrow the window to 30 – 45 minutes, then called again when he was 15 minutes away. I am so happy to have my car, and the best part was that it was stress free!
