Came for the grand opening, & this place is great! My wife & I had a great experience!

I went to a special wedding last weekend, wore a short free people dress. I went in for my spray tan on Friday night, I paid 50.00 including tip for a nice spray tan and to be able to shower in a few hours. I waited 3.5 hours to shower, when I did it seemed like I had never been sprayed, I thought it would appear in the morning. To my surprise it never appeared, I had to drive to Los Angeles for the wedding at 9 am in a beautiful dress looking white as a ghost! I called the salon I was told I would be called back, never got a call back I had to call again! I was then told to come in for a refund. When I did go in l was told in a rude fashion that I wouldn’t be able to get a refund, I could however be re-​sprayed! Why would I want that? Wedding is over! I looked horrible!!! Also, why would I go through that again?! No I want my refund! I was given an e-​mail address for Amy the owner. I emailed her! No response! My advice ladies and gentlemen, DON’T do it! There are other places that are more reasonable in price and you may be treated better. My special day was ruined. Don’t do it. Can I rate this place a zero star?

I just started tanning here this month & I already love it here! It is pricey in a way of which package you choose. But if you are a normal tanner you know that you pay for what you get. So no complaints there. I love the atmosphere. I am going to be a regular customer with my wedding coming up in November to have that nice glow. The staff is very friendly & the whole place is clean & very professional looking.

I get my custom spray tans there and they do an excellent job. So much better than just a machine spray tan. They can vary the color to your liking. The girls that work there are very friendly and call you by name. They have fantastic hours as they open at 7:30 and don’t close until 9:00. I highly recommend Summer Breeze.

Ive been here twice to be sprayed tan by Caitlyn. She is awesome! ! Not once have I streaked or had to go back for another application. She is very professional and keeps you comfortable as you’re standing there half naked! She explains everything in detail to ensure your tan lasts as long as possible. I will def be back

Great girls who work here. Always very informative. I used to come here when I tanned and I always enjoyed the conversation with employees. My mother in law tans very often so I was looking into some deals for her.

I’ve been going here for over a year now and I absolutely love this place!!! The staff here is super friendly and so helpful. They made me feel like a special customer and not just a number. I love it when they call me by my name. The bed are always clean and available as soon as I walk it. I’ve never been to any other tanning salon and I know I won’t ever have to.

I’ve had multiple spray tans, including both mystic tans and airbrush. I’ve been orange before and even too dark; i’ve never before experienced a spray tan NOT working… until this weekend! Honestly, if I had turned orange or had splotches I would understand. But to not change color by even a single shade???
To top that off, I called and tried to explain my frustration but I was told to wait longer. I had got my tan at 1:30 PM and by 7 PM there was still no change. So I kept the tan on over night, all to no avail. I woke up the same pale color I had been the day before.
As a college student, $ 25 is not something I feel comfortable WASTING.
I will NEVER go here again; especially after I called to have my problem solved and was given no help.

This place is amazing! I’m new to the area and ran across some of the reviews on Unilocal so I decided to check it out. Kaitlin is the esthetician here and does ALL my waxing needs! She is amazing! I highly recommend her! She makes you feel extremely comfortable. All the other girls that work the front desk are super nice as well. They also have a range of tanning beds which is a big plus to me.

Today’s rating goes to Katie, a stellar aesthetician who’s handy with the wax. She’s a peach and made getting a brazilian a pleasant experience. You know how hard that is to do! She offers many services and is a great skincare consultant.
The front desk was informative and friendly. I get the impression these ladies run a tight and tidy ship.

The only reason this place doesn’t get a 5 star is because I don’t try to advocate tanning beds, I know all the reasons we shouldn’t go (high risks of cancer), but seriously, how can you live in Socal and NOT be tan? Its superficial but its true, you just feel a little out of place
As far as tanning places go, this is my favorite spot! I know, you ask. why were you tanning? You’re a little brown girl but I beg to differ. I am naturally really pale and I think I look healthier and happier when i’m darker ;)
Anywhos, this is the first place I started tanning when I was in college. Its located in a strip mall in the middle of cam so parking is easy to find. The place is always well equipped with a very helpful and educated staff. They took me around the first time and showed me all the beds and explained everything. Once we decided on a bed, we talked about packages and I ended up getting a discount because I was in college AND military. Love it when that happens! This place is never packed even though there are a lot of customers, I can always walk in and get my bed right away. Beds and rooms are always super clean and the staff does a great job at making sure its consistently kept that way.
I only tan in the spring or winter when its too cold to tan outside, and even during the months in between they keep all your info on file so you don’t have to go through the process. If you recommend friends you earn free upgrades which is an awesome incentive.

Great salon, very clean, never a long wait for a bed. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable and they remember you your not just a number they remember your name!

After reading the previous reviews I decided to give this tanning salon a try. I was going to Vegas for the weekend and wanted to look a bit tan well I ended up looking like the jersey shore girls even though I asked the girl not to make me look orange. Also Friday morning I woke up with white spots on my face and neck, and when I call the salon asking them what to do they weren’t very helpful and said that I must have had some oil on my skin when I got airbrushed (I had exfoliated before going in). Anyway they didn’t seem to care and that really upset me.

Can I just remind everyone how much I love this place??? Everyone is so nice and the owners are the best people you would ever meet. If I had to rate the best business in Camarillo it would be here! Thank you for providing such wonderful customer service and such a wonderful enviornment to come and tan in!!! :)

Great atmosphere, spacious, and super clean. The girls who work there are always really friendly and professional. The prices are about par, but they do a pretty nice student discount. They offer full bed tanning, leg tanning, spray tanning, waxing, and a good assortment of tanning lotions.

I seriously LOVE this place! This was the first place I ever got an airbrush tan, & from now on the ONLY place I will go. I have tried 2 other places for airbrush tans & both turned out funky. I’ve been going here for over a year and a half now & Caitlin is my favorite. They are all very nice though. I went in last month & told the girls I was pregnant & they were very excited for me, they made me feel like we’ve been friends forever. They also assured me that the tanning product is DHA free & safe to do throughout the pregnancy.
I went here two days before my wedding for my tan & it was perfect. My sister went too; she fell later in the day & scraped her knee, she called them & they touched it up for her for free. Being Irish-​Scottish, I cannot naturally tan for the life of me, so I only do the airbrush. They use an all natural, delicious smelling product that shows up immediately. After a few hours it darkens & by the next day you’ll look like a beautiful bronzed mermaid! After a good shower you will look more natural & feel less Jersey Shore-​esque.
For $ 35.00 you get a great tan by a super nice girl that makes you feel very comfortable while you stand there naked in the bright room!
Don’t risk getting an oompa looma tan somewhere else, just go to Pacific Breeze!

Friendly staff! My mom brought me here one day when I visited from las Vegas, where I go to college. Saw immediate results. Beds are CLEAN! Decent prices… Nothing bad to say about this place :) when I visit, I’ll come here EVERY time!

This place is great! The staff is friendly, professional and eager to help with any questions or concerns. The tanning beds are always clean and there’s a great selection of beds to choose from. I always come here before events to get my airbrush tan on; the staff is consistent with the airbrushing and the solution they use is great! One warning — don’t get your airbrush the day of an event, wait a day unless you want to look like a oompa loompa. I recommend getting your tan in the evening so the next morning when you get out of the shower you look like you just spent a few weeks in Hawaii. Hands down, the best tanning salon in the VC.

Went there yesterday for my first try at a Mystic Tan. I’ve done bed tanning for awhile, and thought I’d try something new with faster results. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful (tip: when you sign up they take your picture for you account). She walked me through the steps for the mystic tan, It took maybe 5 minutes for the whole session. Definitely use more of the blending cream than you think you need, I thought i’d used too much and wiped it off, and now my feet and hands are waay darker than the rest of me. But overall I got a nice color (using medium) and i’m naturally tan to begin with. Doesn’t look fake or orangey like I thought. I have one more session through my groupon, but I“ll definitely come back after those are used.
