Camano Marine

My husband and I have rented a storage unit at Camano Marine for the past 5 years, the owners Leslie and Bruce have been absolutely wonderful! Thank you for being so helpful and accommodating!

I went in with Kasper to look at some kayaks. Since it was spring, we wanted to stock up on water sports gear, crabbing supplies, you name it. However after walking in to an empty shop, the owner came out and gave us a little information about one kayak and walked off. I asked about crab pots, etc. but his response was «that’s a lot time away from now» and quickly dismissed us as potential customers. We wanted some more information about the different kayaks, however he was awkwardly in the back so after standing there awkwardly for ten minutes we left. I value local businesses and told him I wanted to purchase locally, but the service was terrible.
I went out the next day and bought three kayaks and crabbing gear from another company.

Our 20 HP outboard was running a bit rough. We called to ask what the turn-​around was for a tune-​up and were told 6 days and possibly sooner as they were able to work on the smaller engines while waiting for parts for bigger boats. Perfect, we would only miss one weekend of crabbing — so we dropped it off. You guessed it… it has now been well over a month and I just got a call to come pick up my SeaRay — wait a minute, we have a Duroboat. Oops, apparently our name is linked to someone else’s boat. Gawd only knows where our boat is… or if it’s done yet… or perhaps has been ready all along… or maybe someone else picked it up…
Handy as these guys are to us, we won’t be back.
