We have eaten at Cama Beach Café on numerous occasions. The food is excellent, prices really good and the customer service great. This is my favorite place to take out of town guests for breakfast or lunch.

This café has one of the best views on Camano Island. The downside is they are only open on weekends until 2 pm. Until then, make sure to come in and fill up on local treats. They have a wide variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. I aim for one of their sandwiches paleo style and they’re always really accommodating. Their waitstaff is very experienced, as are the chefs, with the food always being something to remember. The early part of the afternoon is the best time to stop by so you can sit on the balcony in the sun.

We went to the café this weekend during a camping trip and had stopped off to see the beach and maybe grab some lunch. We sat down, received prompt service, and got thorough explanations about the menu items we inquired about. The boys had Reubens that they raved about. My sister ordered the white bean, pork, and beer soup which tasted more like a white chicken chili than anything but it was tasty regardless. Our friend ordered the turkey pesto sandwich which came packed with meat and was perfectly balanced with the focaccia bread it came on. I had the Caprese sandwich and it was excellent. The menu said the sandwiches came on ciabatta but, as a bread lover, I’m always fine with a substitution like that! The focaccia was perfectly light and moist, not dry or heavy at all! They were out of the fresh mozzarella so I substituted chevre and it absolutely made the sandwich worthwhile. This was a great stop-off for lunch and we would happily recommend it. Everything they serve is fresh or local so they do run out of things as the day progresses. If you’re a stickler for what a menu says, this may not be the greatest experience, however, we loved that there were always suitable substitutions.

I would give this place 10 stars if it was available rating. What a great location and workforce… Food of course as well. Besides served meals they have great local raw honey and organic preserves on shelves. Good looking rustic pastrues. The staff goes beyond and above of what they hired to do. They must be very happy there. Outside great timber tables for anyone ti use not just the café diners. Right on the water front. I came with friends and family for picnic and stopped at local farm to get fresh veggies. Also brought my freshly baked rye bread. I forgot the cheese and God it’s family tradition to have mandatory rye bread and cheese. I begged employees who by the way were ready to close in 15 minutes if I can just get few slices of cheese. And they gave me variety nicely packed in wax envelopes at no charge. I bought they honey and blackberry preserves not just for gratitude, those were awesome addition for rye bread as well. Turned out the employee who was so graceful named Chris was working last day there before heading to university in Canada. I sent message to the owner and they had party for his departure with my message read. It’s like a family there. Places like that are rare on Earth not only in one particular country. I work for large flight training company and travel 100000 miles each year around the world but have not yet surpassed this type of service. GOGOANDGO there. Hope Chris will get replaced with very compatible individual. All the others were very nice as well.

Never left a Unilocal review before but felt like I had to after this. Came for breakfast on Sunday, service was awesome and unbelievably friendly and the waitress was really knowledgeable about all the food. Food was awesome and came with a nice view. Highly recommend!

I fail to see the accuracy of the other comments reflecting this as a five star restaurant. We experienced the following issues with the quality of food we received: the potatoes they served with breakfast were flavorless and served cold, the eggs were undercooked, the toast was cold and served dry without butter, the coffee was extremely strong but that was because they were tipping the pot to get the last of it out of the bottom, they were out of Swedish pancakes and even though they had sausage on hand, they wouldn’t serve it in the omelet I ordered. We attempted to eat there last weekend and were told they were out of pancakes, potatoes and several other items. I gave this restaurant 2 stars because the server had the best attitude and actually presented the the menu items n detail explaining each items uniqueness and quality. She did a great job otherwise this would have been a one star rating.

We’ve been there several times now. The chef comes up with daily specials which are innovative, healthy & delicious. The homemade scones are to die for. Great service too!

A hidden gem of quality food and drink in the wilderness. perfect espresso, eggs anyway you like them served all day, beautiful fruit plates, house made pie and quiche! so good, lovely staff, and all with a view of the water through the trees. With creative meatless options and classic bacon toppings, this place is sure to please everyone at the table.

Warm and wonderfully friendly staff. There was a short wait, but we got coffee and sat by the fireplace. It was lovely. Coffee was delicious and filled with bacon and veggies. The waitress insisted on giving us more coffee to go after we paid our bill. Definitely recommend this place.

First timer here and a great discovery just a few miles from home. Been meaning to try breakfast Cama Beach Café based on the positive reviews and was not disappointed. Randy, our server, was awesome! The food was excellent. And had it been a sunny day, it would have been perfect! Looking forward to going back!

I’ve been here multiple times for breakfast or lunch and the service was great, the food was even better. My husband and I used their catering for our wedding, and it was wonderful! The staff was amazing and made us feel super special on our day. The food was incredible with locally-sourced ingredients and they were very accommodating to our wishes. My guests are still talking about the food and the wedding was over a month ago. Also, the catering prices are very decent.

Take reading material with you Great view. Friendly staff. But: It took over 35 minutes to fully heat 1 quiche and partially heat the other and make a sandwich.

Fantastic food! Yummmmmy. We stayed at the rustic cabins at Cama Beach and walked up the little hill to the café for warm scones, gourmet salads, and delicious coffee. The owner has apparently been catering on Camano Island for years. The food and beverages rock.
