I love this place! I just started going in the morning as an alternative to the typical breakfast stops. The bagels are fresh and you watch the gentleman cook your REALEGGS right there on the flat top! Coffee could be better though.

First, I have to say their bagel sandwiches are 5STARS! The very sweet lady who works there and made my sandwiches also deserves 5STARS. The only reason I don’t give a 5th star overall is because my all-time favorite bagels anywhere are Custom Bagels in Media, PA, and I can’t bring myself to rate any bagels equal to them.(Please don’t take it personally, King Bagels, I still have love for you!) I got my husband a roast beef bagel sandwich and she piled it about 4″ thick, I am not even kidding. My husband was IMPRESSED!(he also said the beef was good quality, so extra props there) I got chicken salad on a salt bagel, which was very good too. All in all the bagels were good and the sandwiches were beautifully made and we will definitely be back! I am really glad I found this place!

This little place was wonderful. Not just for the food but also for the friendly people behind the counter. I was on the road for work and sometimes it is challenging finding proper food to eat, but this place made a sandwich like I would have done at home. I ordered a bagel/egg/turkey sandwich and the eggs were fried right after I ordered and the cheese was melted on them and the freshly made bagels made it all the better. I could have been charged double what I paid for but still would have gone back the following day(which I did). Highly recommended!

We moved to this area after 35 years in the NYC area. We searched for bagels that had some resemblance of what a bagel is and finally found Kings. It’s the best bagel in the area and deserves proper recognition.

The name says it all! Their bagels are amazing for the area. Of course it doesn’t compare to bagels out of New York, this place is the best in the area. They are great with call in orders, too! When there was a double take deal for this place, we bought $ 10 worth of coupons to get $ 20 worth of product Their cream cheese is made fresh and they always have a bunch of choices, breakfast sandwiches are fantastic. The staff is super friendly and delicious coffee make a good foundation for a great deli! Although I never had their sandwiches — their meats are cut at the time they are ordered and they only use Boar’s head, and yet their sandwich prices are reasonable. I and also wondering, thought, if they make loaves of bread… that would make a great pasta sauce making bread… or even garlic bread!

I have agree with other reviews. Great bagels although I haven’t bought a sandwich. Only the bagels and they are fabulous. Shame his location is in the shopping center. Not sure how many folks know he is there.

We grabbed breakfast around 8:30 on a Friday morning, and the two men working fixed our orders right away — my husband got a turkey sandwich on a plain bagel, and I ordered egg on an everything bagels and an iced coffee. They carry Boar’s Head meats, and my husband said his sandwich was great. Mine was good too, and my iced coffee was well mixed and tasted awesome. If you are ever in the mood for bagels, check this place out — cheap and delicious.

Our long local(downingtown and west) nightmare is over. No more bagel-shaped pieces of bread(wegmans, croppers, acme). Everything bagels with actual ‘everything’(could use a little more salt)! Thank you amyc for the heads up!

I gave it five stars because it is as good as it gets for this area. I would agree with Amy C — not a lot of options in this area for bagels. I love this place — its totally authentic and the owner is so passionate about his bagels and the fact that everything is made right there. The bagels are made fresh each morning and the spreads are amazing. The owner is so passionate about this place that he gave me samples of practically everything from bagels, the spreads, the white fish, and more — I almost didn’t need to order lunch(yes, I went for lunch). He even offered to cook breakfast for me. It was definitely the best white fish and fresh bagel sandwich I’ve had in this area.

YOUGUYS! You have no IDEA how excited I am. As a transplant from North Jersey, I have missed bagels so much. Not to dump on you Pennsylvanians, but you guys make some craaaaaaappy bagels out here. So when I saw this place open, I stopped in. GUESSWHAT? The owner’s from Hackensack, NJ! He Loves Brooklyn! He MAKESREALBAGELS! When he put on an actual amount of cream cheese(and not the sad little schmear I get out here), I could have kissed him on the mouth. They are great bagels. Are they perfect? No. But are they closest you will get to decent bagels in Pennsylvania? YES. YES. YES.
