I recently bought a dress from Hanging Artistry and I am extremely pleased. First of all, I am a plus sized woman and I am pleased that the boutique has plus sized items. Second, when I called, they immediately pulled the item I wanted and set it aside for me. When I got there, they got it for me, showed me to a dressing room and gave me service with a smile. They gave me suggestions on other items, as well. The owner and the other people who work there are great. On another note, when shopping a these local boutiques many of which are owned or run by sisters, it never ceases to amaze me the looks of hatred or disdain that plus sized sisters receive. Not so at this shop. I thank you for that. The other shops need to remember that green is green and spend anywhere. When they are trying to move that merchandise, keep your dirty looks to yourself, especially when your caboose is plus sized too! I will be a loyal customer of Hanging Artistry.

I’m a resident of Inglewood, CA and I love to support local businesses. I always would drive past, but when I happened to drop past the Instagram page, I was impressed with the variety of items they had, I decided to drop in. I actually had tried to place random orders on the phone, but it seemed as though they sell out quickly. One item I called in to buy and after taking it home, the quality was not that great for the price tag. The return policy here is within 3 days of purchase for store credit only. I quickly returned it and since there were no other options available, I took the store credit which was a signed receipt from the owner. Unfortunately, the receipt is now 6+ months old and the writing has faded inside my wallet like a lot of receipts do. I left a note for the owner and despite calling the store, I never received a call back. Finally, I called the store and spoke with the owner who really did nothing for me in terms of trying to help out an honest customer. I really hate to lose out on $ 90 from one outfit. I would have been a returning customer, but after my experience here, I definitely will not support this business in the future. I would really suggest a better system in this age of technology such as crediting through an online system or even simply e-mailing a receipt to customers. It would just make things 10x easier for both parties and you wouldn’t lose out on great customers!
