I wish there were a decent gym in Calhoun. I really do. Results Unlimited is barely a C-​. There are two TVs hanging on the wall, and one has been broken forever. Out of the 5 or 6 treadmills, one has been broken forever. The TVs don’t work on the treadmills. Unbelievably, there are little kids running around all of the time playing on the machines. Tonight I saw a little girl, maybe 3 years old, crawling on a treadmill with bare feet. I’ve seen tiny children playing with the weight machines and their parents no where in sight. The ladies locker room is poorly lit with a large padded table but no place to sit down (as in a bench, what a novel idea) while you are changing and no privacy unless you want to use a shower stall. The bathrooms are unclean and the men leave the toilet seats up. (There is no ladies or mens; everyone uses the same toilets.) The weights and weight machines are OK. The weight room actually has a big tractor tire on the floor. I’m not sure what it is used for, but that’s about the level of sophistication at this place. This could be a nice gym if the owner would invest in it. Please repair the broken equipment, get the other TV working, fix up the locker rooms and bathrooms and tell parents that the gym is not a Toys R Us for children.
