Nancy’s Place is locally owned and has been around for years. However, Nancy does not own it anymore. It is now owned by her son. She still answers the phone, takes orders, and manages the restaurant and employees. Tonight they were closed for a private event. But, Nancy opened it up just for me to get a bar b q sandwich. I placed the order over the phone after she told me they were closed. It is the simple truth: that is great customer service. menu items ordered: bar b w sandwich and large coke for only $ 4.50. The bar b q sandwich was good but not what I call a traditional bar b q because I could tell the pork was store bought and prepared. But a great sandwich for on the road. I will keep coming back. PS. I took pictures of the menu front and back that way, next time me and anybody else can phone in the order and it will be ready when you get here like this evening.

Went on a Saturday night and it was very busy with lots of what seems like local residents. I took this as a good sign as the restaurant in an unassuming location and building. My food was good and the menu has some interesting items like fried pickles and green tomatoes. I would recommend mainly for ambiance and local scene over the food, but the food was perhaps above average.
