Worst customer service ever. Rude nasty people answer the phone and act as if they are doing you a favor scheduling service, which is never when you need them. sent someone out without the right parts and could not schedule the right parts for a week so my house is unprotected. Owner wont even return a call. plenty of other options, GO ELSEWHERE Cancelling after nearly 20 years of them.

I had this service for close to 10 years and finally canceled earlier this year. The monitoring service is top notch. Over the years I had a few false alarms when someone opened the door without disarming the system. Calls to check that everything was okay came within seconds, and the representatives were always polite and concerned. However, anytime I had a customer service issue, it became a nightmare. If there was an equipment problem, they would only send repair people out between 9 – 5 Monday-​Friday, which meant I’d have to take off work or try to arrange for someone to come to my house to wait. Equipment failures meant that the system would beep every 90 seconds until it was fixed — try living with that for several days at a time until you could accommodate the company’s schedule! On one occasion, I finally made the arrangements to have it fixed, only to have the system start beeping again later that evening after the repairs were supposedly done. I called immediately, but the customer service person (I always dealt with the same one, not sure if that’s all they have) was gone for the day, and when he returned my call the next morning he flatly refused to have someone come out after 5PM because they would have to pay them extra for an emergency call. His solution to the incessant beeping was to have me disable the system altogether until it was convenient for SMS to come and fix it. So, my not having monitored security did not constitute an emergency… I’m not sure what does.
