TSA Mt Crags & Gilmore Camp & Conference Center

The Malibu Canyon is a mountainous green piece of heaven everyone must see! The flowers, trees, and vast mountain views are relaxing and motivating at the same time.
Several hiking trails, rivers, and even a ropes course await you when you visit! The staff here are extremely friendly and knowledgable about the premises. You truly feel tucked away in your own little world in the Malibu Canyon. I like the hiking most of all and enjoyed the trail that leads to the large cross on the top of the peak. Beware of something called thorny nettle I believe, as it grows all over here and will feel and looks like poison ivy on your skin. One hiker fell in it and it looked terrible. He complained of burning and itching at the contact areas. Luckily, this reaction only lasts a day or two.
Make sure to drive to Zumba beach near by. I heard Bay Watch was filmed her back in the day! The sand is light in color and the water is clear here. It was. But cold for the campers, but enjoyed the wind for flying their kites.
