D & A Estate Sales

When I was faced with the overwhelming and daunting task of cleaning out my mother’s house of 45 years, I had no idea how to tackle it. Then a friend recommended Andee, and what seemed insurmountable was immediately handled. She took care of the estate sale, donated what didn’t sell, and then hauled away what couldn’t be sold or donated. She set up various different vendors to take care of different things, from a shredding company to a guy who specializes in metal to different donation outlets. She communicated with me at each step of the way, asking just enough questions to let me know she had my best interest at heart, but also made judgement calls so as not to bombard me with minutiae. Losing a parent is hard enough. Andee helped make cleaning out her house one less thing I had to deal with. She’s honest, hard working and compassionate and I recommend her and her services to anyone in a similar situation.

I recently hired D&A Estate Sales to conduct an Estate Sale on my family’s behalf. This was an unusual situation as we had a very large and unique collection of American Indian Folk Art. The house was filled with literally hundreds of items which needed to be sorted through, set up, researched and priced and it was a huge undertaking. When I hired D&A Estate Sales, I did not know what a right choice I had in fact made. They were thorough, responsive, dependable and trustworthy. Several of our friends and neighbors attended the sale, including some of the collectors that have sold my family some of the items that were for sale and all reported back that the sale was conducted with the utmost professionalism. Andee and Dina did an amazing job and we are thrilled with the outcome which exceeded our expectations. Well done!
