Excellent service for such an awful situation. The water damage team arrived within an hour and extracted the water immediately. The team was very assuring and comforting, made us feel that everything was fine.

Big Water Damage was amazing! I worked with both Dave and Jorge who really know what they’re doing. I had a pipe leak in a unit above me the day before Thanksgiving. Because of the holidays I wasn’t able to file a claim right away, but they knew exactly what they could remove and what they shouldn’t remove so that insurance would later cover their work. Because of their quick work removing my carpeting and some of the drywall, I didn’t have any mold and I was able to have my place fixed extremely quickly.
Side note: I did have a flood before earlier in the year and used a different company. They didn’t work as quickly to dry out the walls and I ended up with mold and my renovations took months.
If I ever have another flood (fingers crossed that never happens) I’ll be going right back to Big Water Damage.

Im going through construction in my house right now, and i had a water damage, i called this company and they came out to dry the bathroom area before we put the dry wall. great and professional service, they left the equipment for few days and everything was dry and perfect. reasonable prices — highly recommended.

My washing machine flooded from the second floor downstairs to the kitchen and garage. Because they said they could get someone out that night, I told them to come to the house. They put up a few fans and said they would return the next day. They packed my things in the affected rooms, did not communicate properly — it was a whirlwind… no one is ever prepared for this type of event. I wasn’t sure what they were doing, but before I knew it, dry wall was yanked out, there was dust everywhere. Most of the workers didn’t speak English, and were so sloppy. While a worker was putting up plastic and picking up drywall in the kitchen, he hit a nob on the stove which turned on the gar burner. He didn’t notice. Luckily, I was in nearby room, and ran in when I smelled the smoke. When I told him he needed to be more careful, he shrugged it off like it was not a big deal.
But the problems did not stop once they were gone, I make jewelry as a hobby — while packing my things, they had dumped all of my finding drawers in box, and everything fell out. It’s taken me weeks to sort it out, and I’m still not done. They also broke the glass on an expensive lithograph. I emailed Dave several times asking for the glass to be repaired. I also suggested he remit half of the packing fee back to my insurance. I received one response that said he was going to be on vacation, and he would deal with it when he got back. I emailed one more time. No response. He got his $ 16,000 plus for a few days work from my insurance — he could care less. It was a stressful time made even more stressful by the shoddy work of this company.

Big Water Damage made an appointment to arrive between 8 and 10 am to clean my carpets. The day of the appointment when nobody had arrived by 9:40 am I called the company to check the status. The receptionist informed me that they had «tried to call me» that morning and the previous night to let me know they could not come due to another «emergency» job but could come the following day. I had already removed the furniture to prepare for the carpet cleaning so I declined their inconvenient offer. I was home the entire time and never received a call or a message on my voice mail. This company is unprofessional, unreliable and not worth the aggravation.
