I love the Cairo Public Library! Not only is it brand-​new and technologically top-​notch, but it is so beautiful and comfy both inside and out.
The staff is friendly and helpful. There are classes held regularly on all sorts of things, from Qi-​jong to knitting to energy conservation. They recently held a class on pet nutrition!
Besides an extensive array of books (most not due back for a leisurely 3 weeks), there is a huge collection of DVDs, video games (due back in 7 days), and audio books. You’ll find a large periodical section in the back, too.
There is a separated, cheerfully decorated children’s library room, plus a teen room, complete with juke box.
