Best Wok

Ordered in the restaurant. Lady at the front was all about business, which I liked. Food was ordered and made in no more than 10 minutes. Quick and easy process. Good portion sized. Pretty high on my lifelong take out list.

Yes as one reviewer says «small town Chinese food». One would think that as a small town establishment they would try hard to keep up a good reputation. The staff at Best Wok are the most impersonable staff one could encounter. They are rude, unfriendly and cold. The quality of the food matches their personalities. The food is often tasteless, greasy and you are lucky to get your order correct.
Even as I write this review I am convinced that there is not one staff member who care about a negative review. They act like machines and do not care one bit about the customers. There are better places a few miles away. Avoid this place if you can.

As this is the only Chinese takeout in Cairo we order there frequently. Their prices are reasonable and the owners not very friendly. It’s typical Chinese without any frills. They do make the best Singapore rice noodles I ever had.

Before the move I would have given this restaurant 1 or 2 stars but since then the food has gotten a little better… I used to either pick up Chinese food in Kingston or suck it up and deal with it but now when my boys ask for Chinese food I actually don’t cringe thinking about ordering food here… Maybe it’s a new cook or because its cleaner due to the move into the new building I’m not sure which… It’s not the best Chinese around but what do you expect for a little town and now it’s cleaner inside so you won’t be grossed out by eating here… Their chicken and broccoli is what I order… I ask them to cook the broccoli well done and cook it with extra brown sauce so I can pour some on my white rice…

It’s small town Chinese food, what do you want? It’s nothing incredible, but it’ll fill the void if you’re dying for China food. And DON’T eat there, the more you look around the more you’ll get creeped out.
