Three Brothers Moving & Storage

These guys were terrible! They were late cause they got lost not once, but twice getting to the apartment. They broke my desk while trying to take it apart. Why did they take apart my desk? I don’t know… it would have fit through the doorways if left alone. The wooden frame of my newly purchased futon got scraped up. The movers were all very unprofessional, as in I caught one of them riding my bike in the parking lot, while the other movers were slowly carrying stuff to the moving truck. Oh and one of the movers had the audacity to ask me out to go clubbing with him. Umm eww!
One last thing… the guy who’s in charge (the big wig, whoever he is)… was super nice when I first talked to him (obvi to get my business). However it was a Dr jekyll & Mr hyde thing, where the guy was a total jerk on the phone when I called to complain about the broken desk. I signed away any blame for breaking of furniture (or some crap like that)…
whatever.
Bottom line: Don’t support these guys. Zero stars if possible.

My friend just used this company to move from DC to NY, and her e-​mail to me was so compelling I thought I’d post it on Unilocal so that people could be warned about this company. They only got one star because you’re not allowed to give no stars. This is what she said:
«I have moved 3 times in the past 4 years and this was the WORST
experience Ive had! Movers were late, got lost, expected us to draw
them a map to our destination and even ride in the truck with them.
They charged double the estimate and would not move my furniture into my apt until I paid the full amt. We ended up having to pay AND move boxes and furniture ourselves. To top it off, because the movers were unprepared and did not have the tools to take my bed apart and put it back together, they broke my bed during the move. After describing our experience to the management, they were both unsympathetic and severely unprofessional. ‘We cant help you. I need to close this acct Goodbye.’»
