Nick’s Pizza House

Stumbled across nicks after a long day at Ryans across the street. We were on a time crunch so hopped over for slices, and were disappointed to find out that it is apparently a ‘sometimes’ thing. The man working was short and uninformative in his answers and seemed to annoyed to be interacting with customers.
The menu was basic but no prices were displayed which drove me a bit crazy. Everything about the place screams outdated and old school. When the worker told us there weren’t any slices available, I was lucky enough to have a friend with us who knew the menu here pretty well and told me that they do mini, personal pizzas which I decided on. I just wish the person getting paid would have informed me of this instead.
A few people in the party ordered meals including grilled chicken. 10 minutes after ordering, they were informed that they were out of the chicken and only had fried chicken cutlets which they could slice. Both of these customers were unhappy with the substitution.
My pizza was actually quite tasty, hence the extra star. If they spruced the place up a bit and hired workers who seemed to care a bit, I’m sure this place would be MUCH better!

This staff is very unfriendly and they treat you like your a bother. They also tend to make up their own prices and their is none on the menu and was charged 36.00 for two large pineapple pizzas which is a complete ripoff. On top of that the pizza crust was burnt and greasy. The bathrooms and tables were absolutely disgusting. Will never eat at this restaraunt again.

Over the years I have always enjoyed the food at Nick’s in Buzzards Bay. Recently I visited this establishment and was extremely disappointed and some disgusted at the lack of cleanliness and unfriendly slow service I received. First of all it was approximately 5 minutes before anyone even approached us to place an order. While waiting the delivery driver took a plastic basket and slammed in on the counter on top of my pocketbook. Once I ordered my food which was only a pizza. We try to locate a booth to sit in that was clean there wasn’t one out of the 10 booths there that was clean. I proceeded to clean my own booth with napkins. The trash barrel had plates of food that someone left on top there from the time we got there until the time we left. Approx. 1 hour as we had to wait approx. 30 minutes for our pizza. The staff was less than friendly during any interaction I had with them. Needless to say that I will not be visiting this establishment any longer. The board of health should be investigating the lack of cleanliness at Nick’s.

Love the pepperoni pizza well done! They deliver further then most pizza shops! Also portion size is very good for the price. All and all a much better then average cape pizza shop.

They have been around for a very long time. They must be doing something right! Not a fan of their pizza, but the subs are great.

Rude! When I called to place my order the guy had the biggest attitude. I knew exactly what I wanted and it wasn’t a big order so that was very uncalled for. I went to ask for a total but he said 40 minutes and hung up before I could get a word in. I called back and asked for a total, he asked someone next to him named Kenny I believe, and I heard him say «oh Jesus Christ» in a very mad voice. I canceled the order immediately, I will never go there or order from there again. Last time I had their food it was just another mediocre pizza place.

Without question a terrifying spot. The dirt was extreme, the food was abysmal and the service was quite poor. It was clearly an evening of a disaster.

Previously we had eaten nicks with friends, delivery, etc. it was enjoyable until the last time we went. While we waited for our food we noticed the filth. No staff wearing gloves while touching food, money, trash, faces, phones, and back to food. They lacked friendliness and didn’t communicate well. I will honestly say we won’t go back due to the lack of cleanliness. And maybe it was paranoia but nothing tasted good after seeing all that.

Best pizza ever, anywhere. I grew up in Buzzards Bay and had Nick’s my whole life! No one compares!!! I wish I could teleport a plain cheese right now!

Came by at lunch, friendly service, large subs are huge, pizza excellent, good crust, good balance of sauce and cheese, linguica just great, prices more than fair for the size and quality. Wide variety of subs, pizza even meals, fries hot and crispy, will come back, have already in fact.

My boyfriend has been coming here for about 10 years now.
We had a small personal cheese pizza and a large chicken cutlet sub.
The pizza was ok, but the sub was really good. It had cheese, lettuce, mayo, and tomatoes in toasted bread. We enjoyed every bite. We look forward to trying other things on the menu.

First place I go every time I come to town, The staff is great the food is better. Everything on the menu is incredible!

Dirty tables. Italian with bologne? No ice? No slices? Not a fan.
