IC Brooklyn Cafe

What a cool place. I don’t want to always write negative reviews. However, there are situations where you don’t want to say too much because you want to keep it to yourself and don’t want it too change. This is exactly one of those situations.
IC Brooklyn café is awesome and it is awesome for all the right reasons. Not a hipster or beard in sight although, my own face could use a good trim. What I did see is people in their own zone. Studying, drawing, researching but it wasn’t a heavy atmosphere. Whatever people were doing they were doing because they wanted to not because they had to. I suppose it’s easier to do anything when you can choose from 3 different acai bowls, fresh juices, endless teas (I had a large hot ginger and honey tea, best I ever had), smoothies and custom made salads.
They also had a nice lounge in the front where people were chatting. The service was impeccable just be patient sometimes there is just one person doing it all. It is worth the wait. My custom salad was the bomb! On top of it all the AC felt… I don’t want to say awesome again… awesome. Lots of pluses, ample seating, backyard, etc.
So, do me favor and don’t go there because I don’t want anything to change, lol! But if you do come, do everyone a favor… Bring your Zen

This place is such a hidden gem. Their smoothies and bagel sandwiches are fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. I had the Brooklyn bagel which is cream cheese, pesto, tomato, and avocado. I also recommend the Nutella latte. Cute garden in the back. Extremely friendly service and cute interior. This place is the perfect pick if you want an affordable and healthy brunch/​lunch or even just a snack. Love it!

Courteous staff, acai classic was great held up for the 5 min ride to work… hawaiin bowl melted into mush:/ hopefully tomorrow’s bowls will be better

Kind staff, delicious bagel sandwiches and smoothies – what more could you ask for? The outdoor patio is lovely. The bathroom is always nice and clean. Good music too!

Amazing coffee, wonderful food, and a huge selection. There is currently one employee here (it’s a post blizzard Monday) and he’s incredible. So nice and SUPER fast. I just left $ 5 in his tip jar, nicest guy ever! It’s a super cute environment, really comfy little waiting area! So happy with everything!

My favorite café in the city! Affordable prices, delicious food, best coffee in the area and fabulous customer service! Not to mention the most fabulous and comfortable big blue couch.

Fresh bagel sandwiches, great coffee, and good prices. Refreshingly absent of the hipster BS that defines many other coffee places in the vicinity.

This review is for their fresh juices, which are so good and not ridiculously overpriced. Some places will throw one measly piece of kale in with mostly apples and carrots and call it green juice, which always leaves me feeling ripped off. At IC Brooklyn they actually puts big handfuls of kale, parsley, spinach, etc in their juices, and all the produce they use is clean and fresh. The customer service is excellent too. The young ladies who cook the food and man the register are friendly and efficient.

I love this place! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty (and relatively affordable) coffee. Their green tea latte is the best I’ve had in Manhattan or Brooklyn. I just wish they were open later!

Really solid place to get some coffee and a bite to eat. Their coffee is really top notch and they have a glorious list of smoothies/​fruit drinks/​acai bowls that they make. My favorite being the soursweet symphony since I’d rather eat kale than drink it, but hey, to each his own!
I’m quickly becoming a regular here. The staff is the best here.

Just happened upon this place. I had the don’t color me orange juice. Probably in the top 5 smoothies I’ve ever had. The space is very nice. Delicious bagels to boot.

This place is by far the BEST coffee shop I’ve been to in Brooklyn. The environment is super relaxing, plenty of tables to work at, nice outdoor area with couches, and the coffee /​pastries and ridiculously good (specifically the almond chocolate croissant). The staff is also super personable and friendly! So excited to have such a great coffee shop near my apartment!

SO delicious! I had the Manhattan bagel and an iced coffee while sitting in their outdoor patio space. Super cute, quaint place with wonderful customer service. Definitely recommending to friends!

Their bagel sandwiches with the scallion cream cheese and veggies are super tasty.
Coffee isn’t the best in the neighborhood, but is passable.
Nice embience. Fruit-​infused waters at each table, comfy outdoor lounge area, needs a little décor help (hello, visible barbed wire on top of fence) on but still relaxing.

Accidentally stumbled in here today. Grabbed an iced coffee and just a few hours later walked back in and ordered the Brooklyn (Cream Cheese, Pesto, Avocado, and Tomato) on an everything bagel along with a Bushwik Swirl. Both were delicious.
Very happy to have this place only 100 feet from my apartment and I am pretty confident it will do very well!
