This is out little hole in the wall family favorite! I literally am not allowed to eat anything with acid yet I save up my medicine do that I can go have the most amazing tacos! Family owned and operated, great little place!

I’ve waited a very long time to try this place out, and I’m glad I did. I’m incredibly disappointed. We won’t be going back. I’m writing this from my bathroom if that tells you anything. No saving grace for anything we ordered. All of it was soggy, VERY greasy(old grease) and just incredibly bland. I really don’t take pleasure in giving bad reviews, but I paid good money for miserable food that shouldn’t even be allowed to be called Mexican. The shredded chicken was the only semi-decent thing we tasted. I will never go back here though. El Cozumel is 100% light years better. Sorry Poco Loco. Your food is just plain bad and greasy. Ugh.

Let me first state that there are ZERO good Mexican restaurants in Flint. If you want good Mexican food then do yourself a favor and go to Mexicantown in Detroit or fly to Phoenix or San Diego or Texas and have REAL Mexican food. By real I mean Sonoran or Baja or Tex-Mex. Poco Loco, while a clean, quaint and cheap little joint, does not have real Mexican food. If you like your rice and beans straight out of the can or your beef taco is basically ground beef then you’ll love this place. I give it 2 stars because I thought the tamales were ok.

Good food, great pricing, always fast! If you’re looking for a quick, authentic Mexican food experience go to Poco Loco in Burton! It may be a small place, but the food is excellent. They have daily specials to make their reasonable prices even better.
