Lovely antique furniture along with modern amenities make this a wonderful stay. Robyn’s meals are something to truly enjoy and the rooms are incredibly clean.
Best bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed in!

My girlfriend and I wanted to do something different for our anniversary so we decided to head to a bed and breakfast just to get away for the day. The overall experience was ok at best. The head of the place turns the heat off at night to save money, well this particular night in November was freezing, we didn’t enjoy being so cold in a room that we were paying that much for. We also felt a bit weird about how intrusive she was, she often came to talk to us and we wanted to spend some time together and not feel like we were being smothered by the owner. The house is located just off of a very busy road and we were often bothered throughout the night by traffic. I wouldn’t recommend staying at the Goodwin House, but if you do be sure to take ear plugs to drown out the traffic and some extra clothes to help keep you warm without heat at night.
