This place has went down hill. Very over priced. My last appt. I went to Fenton office. My husband had an appt. at Burton and it took forever. We could of went to Fenton got the exam and been home by the time they got him in. If they want to stay in business they better have more compative prices. Not everyone has eye insurance. They need a more knowledgeable and friendly staff. I have been going here for 20 yrs. and probably won’t be going back. Very Sad!

The service over the years has been excellent by the optometrist, but falls short with the staff customer service. I really prefer to post positive reviews, but my recent purchase was very unsatisfying.

If anyone knows me, I’m all about great customer service! General optical is a great place to take care of your eyes. The staff is always very profesional, helpful, patient, and very kind. It’s very easy to make an appointment by phone or online. Their eye exams are not expensive compared to some of the other optical facilities. The staff makes you feel very welcomed, as if your family, and not rushed as if your just another sale. The optometrist is quick and efficient and you can ask all the«dumb» questions you want WITHOUT them getting upset. They also refer you to outside sources if they can’t meet the needs you are looking for. They don’t have a huge selection of glasses but enough to please a crowd. So overall my experience here has been a good one.
