Unilocal should have a minus star rating. If anyone hire these butchers they should
have their heads examined. IF they show up near your property WATCH EVERY MOVE THEY MAKE. Not only do they leave a mess, they destroy trees and damage property.
ComEd subcontracted them to trim a tree near lines in alley and not only
did the massacre it, they SABATOGED it.
I just noticed a large sawed in wedge shaped gash on the rear on the tree near bottom
on the back so you wouldn’t notice it. Almost as if they were going to cut it down and they MIGHT AS WELL HAVE!!! IT’s a mess and will have to be removed ON MY DIME.
COMED should be liable for these jerks.

They do the worse job at trimming trees! To say they are ‘tree trimming experts’ is insulting. They did a terrible job of ‘trimming’ the trees along 103^rd in Chicago Ridge. Would have been better if they just cut them down versus ‘trim’ them. I know they are told to trim the branches near cable and electric line, but to do so using a 10 foot radius is insane! The poor trees look mutilated!!! Will post pics, it’s the worst trimming job I’ve ever seen. So to say they are professional is to give them too much credit. The probably put these guys through a two day training period, mostly to show them how not to cut off their own fingers or limbs!

I am not at all pleased. ComEd hired them to do tree work in our area. ComEd marked the trees that needed to be trimmed or removed and that totaled three. Asplundh took down more than twice that amount. They damaged both of our metal sheds jamming one set of doors inside the shed, out of the track. They left cigarette butts on the lawn and empty water bottles in an empty flower pot. They wouldn’t discuss it at our home that day implying they didn’t speak English. After several weeks, I accepted a deal for them to finish removing one they left unfinished and take out all trimmings. They cut the tree and left the cuttings. Feeling they had broken our agreement I called and they sent someone else out. I told them a dollar amount I’d accept to repair the shed roofs, He said a super would come out. No one ever did. After another call to them. The man, who said his name was Jose, made an appt to come out at 11:00 on Friday. I waited 45 minutes. They never came and never called. That, to me was the worst of it all. I called, spoke with a woman, than a man yet whatever they were doing I couldn’t understand/​hear a word he said and he hung up. My email has gone unanswered. I wouldn’t recommend them to do any work at a private home, ever.
