Every time this place changes owners unfortunately the service as well as the food and drinks stay the same. I would highly recommend not ever going here. I’ve been there 2 times. First time we waited 90 minutes for our food that never ended up coming. We ordered drinks which also never came. This place is a disgrace. We went to Buffalo Tap instead.

My wife and I had $ 30 from a voucher from Groupon. We decided to head down on a Friday night for dinner. They had a pretty good selection of beers on tap, so the first one I tried was the Summit EPA. good beer! Our waitress was super cool and expressed how much she liked the smell of my hard apple cider. I ordered the build your own chicken sandwich with volcano hot sauce and mustard and lettuce and onions and tomatoes. The sandwich was actually pretty tasty and the volcano sauce was just the right amount of heat/hot. My wife munched on some crackers she brought and I stole her side salad as well. I tried and Angry Orchard cider, which was spectacular. The chicken sandwich was pretty good, but it was clearly Costco chicken tenders microwaved and thrown on the grill for a few minutes.

Is this place a joke? Stopped here for a beer last week and I cannot imagine why anyone would ever want to come back. The owners were sitting at the bar drinking and treated the place like their own little clubhouse. I wonder how many people stop here just to see what a disaster this place is. I hear nothing but bad things… but damn, I really liked the old Renegades so I was secretly hoping the new owners didn’t drive this place even further in the ground. Turns out it was worse than anyone told me. I didn’t know if the blonde girl behind the bar was a meth addict or just really awful in general. I would recommend washing your hands after even looking at this place. Now I know why everyone says to never go here.

Minneapolis is really hurting for a great place to meet, mingle, eat, dance and just let your hair down. Great location, management and a personal setting for all, not only bikers. Almost every night there’s a different band playing, just a fun atmosphere to be in. Food is excellent at a reasonable price. Tony and Mellisa is working hard to insure this establish is here to stay so us bikers can have a place to hang our hats. Thanks Tony and Mellisa for the determined effort. Steve Sweeney

I have never written an update so soon before. But a few days after my first visit I saw they had a Groupon, so I thought awesome, I liked the place, so I bought it. What I learned is that this is not a good place to dine in. My bar experience was good, but for a family dinner, pass on this. It took nearly 30 minutes for my food to arrive, it was not busy, other than the folks at the bar we were one of two tables. Our food was not that great. I ordered steak bites and they were served in a bowl soaking in about of half inch of oil, first time I had steak and it was not grilled. My husband got a juicy lucy and it was burnt. It could have been good but it is hard to get over the burnt taste. This is what would have been a 2 star experience, but sine I had a positive time at the bar, I will give them a three.

We have been here twice. Both times the food was great. However, both times had slow service. Last time, the service was horrible, and the entire experience took almost 2 hours– even though they weren’t that busy, and seemed to have plenty if workers there. The waitress was unbelievably slow and bad.

A few friends and I needed a place to grab a drink in Burnsville. We ended up here, not realizing it was a biker bar. Although we definitely weren’t the core demographic, we felt very welcomed and our drink and food orders were taken right away. The servers were attentive and friendly. The owner also introduced himself to us. Although I didn’t have any of the food, the friends I was with had great things to say about the walleye fingers and sandwich. The band was loud and lively(in a good way) and we all had a good time.

I wanted to take a Sunday drive, mainly where it wouldn’t be snowing. Southwest sounded like a good idea. It’s on the frontage road. It is advertised as a biker bar, and on a Sunday it was mostly regulars at the bar. We sat on the side by the pool tables, and the light was a little distracting. Theresa was our server, and made us feel very welcome. I expected the food to be average, but it was surprisingly better than. First, I had a tomato soup, and it was one of the best I ever had. It had a great flavor and texture. Next time I get the bowl. They had fried chicken on the menu. I forgot to ask for all dark meat. So I reluctantly bite into the white, and it was actually juicy. That’s almost unheard of. Coming on a Sunday, I didn’t get the full experience, but they seem to have lots of bands and parties. This could be a place the Sons of Anarchy could retire to.
