Pilgrim Dry Cleaners & Launderers

Disclaimer: I rarely take anything in to be dry cleaned. I brought in a skirt and jacket and another black dress and jacket. These clothes had been in a hamper in our laundry room and fell on the floor. One of our cats peed on these clothes. I brought in on a Thursday saying I need for sure next Tuesday for a job interview. I asked counter worker if they could get the smell out. Sure I’m told. I return on Tuesday. The smell is still there. I told counter worker it still smells. She calls manager and I could either pay now but their credit card machine is down or wait until they reclean. Ok, I return the next day. The cat pee smell is still in my clothes. Told high school boys I was not happy. They call Manager and I have to pay for cleaning anyway. I call Manager the next day and tell of my ordeal. She comments that they didn’t put the cat pee smell in the clothes. No shit lady I didn’t imply you had a resident cat at the dry cleaners who pisses on clothes. I felt like saying. But she offers me a cash refund for the outfit. I picked up the cash refund. I googled how to get out of the smell and used Apple cider vinegar soaked in water and laundered normally. I did this myself and cat pee smell is gone. I would have given a much lower review but was happy with a cash refund. Now I know better and basically dry cleaners just use Tide detergent anyway.

Good service, they also have same day dry cleaning service and if you check in before 11 AM.
