Wayne’s Drains

Called them to help clear the main drain. The guy was rude on the phone. Woman in the background was dropping F-​bombs every other word (how professional!).
I’m listening to:
He had the nerve to F-​in say to me…
I F-​in told him, I“m not gonna…
Cuz if he thinks I’m gonna F-​n take that he’s got another thing coming…
I had to talk over this woman who is somewhere in their office.
I am renting the property that needs work and asked if they could bill me.
Not possible. I am not a customer, and they aren’t currently taking new customers. Again, said rudely.
A polite, «actually we need to collect when we do the work» would have sufficed.
I asked if I could make an evening or weekend appointment. He snidely said if I wanted to pay the emergency rate I could.
NICE.
Attitude is everything, and in the end, I don’t think they’re really looking for new customers.
