I went shopping and bought the wrong brand of cat food and cat liter. I tried returning the unopened product so that I could buy the correct brand at the store. I even told her that. I didn’t have a receipt, though. At most stores like Lowes they can just swipe your card that you used. She said I can’t do that. She was very rude about it. After about 5 minutes she said she could give me a store credit. That’s all I wanted in the first place and she knew it. Not sure why she treated me the way she did, but the customer service at this store is horrible. Half of their self checkouts don’t accept either cash or store credit. I accidentally went to one that said no gift cards. When it wasn’t taking my payment the worker said very rudely«hold on.» And was very rude to me there on out for an honest mistake. The bottom line is this isn’t a friendly environment. I relate this to bad management and bad hiring and training procedures.
