Super 8 Burlington

Avoid this location. The bed was old and uncomfortable, so when I kept waking up during the night I figured that was the reason. It wasn’t until the 3^rd time I woke up that I realized that the bed had bedbugs. I’ll never forget the awful realization that they were all over my arm in the middle of the night and being left with an arm coated with bedbug bites.
Do not stay here.

Room smelled when we came in. Color scheme of the room was nice. The water in the bathroom tub went down very slowly, I was actually taking a shower and bath at the same time. Not a place I would’ve stayed had it not been so late. Breakfast was okay. All in all, I think they could do a better job.

Loud noise from a factory next door kept me up at night. The rooms are small. Krystal at the front desk was especially downright frustratingly rude. She was short, unhelpful, and she even snapped at me twice during my stay (I asked her to repeat herself as I didn’t understand what she said and she responded with «DO you WANT to speak to my manager?!?») She also left the desk for long periods of time. I had to call from the lobby phone to find her and waited almost 10 minutes for her to meander into the lobby to reset my key.
One day, the maid left a note on my bed that she didn’t feel comfortable moving my «items» in order to make my bed. All that was on the bed was a pair of pajama pants. That would be well and good, but another day, my entire suitcase was moved and rearranged in order for my bed to be made. I found this inconsistent and disturbing.

Rude, dirty, and over priced!

I usually stay at a Marriott property, but they don’t allow dogs so we recently spent a night at the Super 8 Motel in Burlington. Actually, this place was great. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the place was quiet.
For breakfast, they’ve got toast, cinnamon rolls, waffles, cereal, orange juice, apple juice, and plenty of coffee.
Staff were friendly and helpful — we were checked in quickly and offers of information/​assistance were forthcoming. Next time I travel with a dog, I’ll definitely check around for another Super 8.
