Subway

This subway always tastes fresh and they are usually pretty friendly compared to other ones I’ve been to :) One time I called in one sub and it took forever for them to get it done but it wasn’t a huge deal because they were really busy.

A change of staff seems appropriate.
Our first mistake was asking her to put the green peppers on top of the meatballs then the cheese on top of the peppers. That earned her first eye rolling.
Our second mistake was asking for it to be double toasted. At that, she looked like she was going to have a meltdown. After that I asked for her to put olives on it. She dropped perhaps 10 olive pieces on it. I asked for more olives, it was then that she told me that «that is all that you are allowed»!!! (I’m guessing there’s an olive shortage?)
So, with my meatballs, green peppers and 10 olive pieces on it I asked for Parmesan cheese — okay that went well, but then I asked for Italian herbs. She corrected me profusely letting me know that Oregano was not an Italian herb and that no one ever calls it that.
But just wait, the most outrageous part was to come.
When she cut the sandwich she did so so violently that the bread shredded in three places. She tried and tried to fold the sandwich over but it was falling apart and creating a big gooey mess.
It was at this point that I told her that I didn’t want it.
She then proceeded to wrap the sandwich up with exaggerated jerking movements and then THREW it with all her might on the floor! If it had been a football, and she were throwing down field, it would’ve sailed a good 30 yards.
When we left the restaurant my nephew asked me if I had seen her face when she threw the sandwich. I replied that, yes, indeed I had. Her face was red, her eyes were bulging and she seemed ready to jump over the counter at us.
I’ve been to many Subways across the country and usually the employees are cool to friendly, but this one was out of control and it seemed that it was the green peppers that started it all.

Typical Subway. A little on the slow side during the lunch rush. The layout is a little annoying… irritating to sit at a table and have a line of people standing next to you while you eat.
