This is one of our favorite restaurants for breakfast or lunch. It’s a cozy restaurant with good food and service. It’s quite busy at times because most of our small town goes here from time to time. They also have toys for restless children to play with. Compared to other breakfast places in Burlington this is great food for a decent price.

If you are looking for an amazing family breakfast place this is it. They accept cash only so that is the only downfall I’d say. Otherwise the food, the atmosphere is all great. I order their cinnamon roll(which is HUGE) for a little breakfast appetizer lol, and then I get the meat lovers skillet which is plenty!!! You will not be sorry you came here!

This was my first visit to Town Fryer. I had a very good Skillet Scramble. I put together a Sausage, Jalapeño and Monterrey Jack scramble and it hit the spot! The service was fast and friendly, plenty of coffee and local sports talk. I’ll be back.

Burlington’s best breakfast place, hands down. The service is always fast and food is consistently amazing. There’s a wide variety of lunch and breakfast meals, but you can’t go wrong with the Cheesehead. It’s my personal favorite. Although it can be slightly cramped at times, I think that just adds to the overall charm. On top of that, all of the servers go above and beyond to help. If you want a good, quick meal in Burlington, this is your place.

What I had? Biscuits and Gravy, sausage patties, and scrambled eggs Food review: So I didn’t go with my usual here(ham and cheese omelet) and kind of regretting this. Biscuits and gravy sounded good so I went with that. What I got was a so-so breakfast. The gravy first of all tasted a little over seasoned and a bit thicker than I’m used to. The biscuits on the other hand were generally tasty. The eggs were fluffy and tasted ok. The sausage patties tasted a bit sharp/salty. Everything was generally ok but once again, I was really wishing I had the omelet instead. Service? Friendly and attentive Other thoughts: This is one of those local diner joints. Serves up a good breakfast but you can come here for lunch as well. Also note. they take CASH only. They do have an ATM in the place just in case you are unable to bring some.

My fiancé and I ate here for breakfast since we were in Burlington. Our waitress went missing after taking our order. My fiances omelet was inedible, obviously made from some type of egg product, and they hadn’t even melted the cheese inside. My eggs were underdone and gave me serious intestinal discomfort afterwards. We would have been better off eating at the McDonalds around the corner.
