What a dump, if you have ever watched any episode of Cops. The is the model hotel for the crack dealer.

This would be a good value at $ 45 per night. We know as we travel across this country extensively. But at $ 80, not so much. The very nice couple running the place is friendly, accommodating, and are trying their best to do what they can with this old motel. However, it remains a 60s era motor court motel that has not been renovated or upgraded probably since it was new. It is clean, and the grounds are well taken care of. But no continental breakfast, old TV, plumbing and tile from the 60s, rough but clean old towels, old furniture, and yes, the old style paneling from that era as well. A place taken over by immigrants, you see it all over the country, and they are trying to do their best with something that has been simply run into the ground.
For some reason the motels in this not so pleasant area of southern Wisconsin all seem to have very high rates.

I stayed here on my way back in from a 253 mile bike ride. A lot of country music artist stayed here at one point. It’s clean & functional. And i got a good rate! No complaints. Thanks!
Plus they returned my biking gloves I left there by my own fault.
