Quantum Health in Burlington is home to a friendly, compared to Seattle studios small, and skilled community of teachers and students. Eight years it has been open. Out of 5 studios practiced at, this one seems like home. Over the past week experienced Kinsey, Jene, and the owner, Scott, teaching hot power in the mornings. A well stocked store/health bar carrying high quality yoga and fitness products welcomes you at entry(context someone who likes to come 30 minutes early to warm up: the open sign may be on but the teachers may not actually be inside, if patient, they do get there). A kangen water dispenser machine is provided for students. There is a small changing area, cubbies, clean toilet, and they are installing a single shower stall. The majority of practitioners here are female, so it is kind of an unsaid rule that the changing area, and I expect shower when completed, are for the sisters. As are most of the products for sale. However, as a brother, one can appreciate special consideration for our divine feminine counterparts. Bros can use the restroom if changing(most guys in a class experienced so far have been 3). But let’s get to the yoga. Mats and towels are available for rent at 3 bucks per. Drop in classes $ 15. New students get 3 classes for $ 25. 10 class pack, $ 130. Hot yoga is why this one comes(there are warm and unheated classes available). Compared to other studios experienced, it is a bit less hot, but still use two towels and two liters of water as a heavy sweater. The pace, heat, routine, music, and lighting varied a bit based on the teacher, so all together a good variety. The studio itself fits about 15, it seems. Felt like the teachers gave very good instructions and the peers were good references when this one got lost. One can reach for the the blacklit stars during the dark class or enjoy the moon and forest during the dim shavasana portions of others. They ain’t kidding around when it comes to power, while each can go at their own pace, the lead is a true workout. Great balance to the less than healthy lifestyle aware surroundings of Burlington. Grateful that this studio is available.

I’m visiting from out of town and needed a yoga fix. I did a drop in «warm power yoga» session for $ 15 with a complimentary mat rental for first time users. The studio has a relaxing atmosphere, that offers several yoga classes for all different experience levels. They don’t cram very many people into a session so there was plenty of room to move with out having to worry about hitting the person next to you. I had never taken a heated yoga class before so I was able to go at my own pace with out feeling like I was behind or too inexperienced. Robyn was a great yoga instructor and very helpful with showing me around and getting me started. I plan to utilize this studio again during my stay in Skagit Valley.

The studio and the instructors make this business a 5-star experience. The recently updated studio offers a juice/smoothie bar, clothing for sale, massage rooms and a very large and beautiful yoga studio UNDERTHESTARS! How amazing to wake up with Hot Yoga with stars above you? It is a truly magical experience. I so appreciate the very early and very late class times for those of us trying to exercise before or after work. The instructors are highly trained and super knowledgable. They make every effort to give personalized attention, feedback on body positioning, and tips to take the movement to the next level. It is wonderful to walk in and have the instructors remember your name, and every name of their students. The classes range from very advanced to very basic, with something for everyone. There are even cross training classes in the classroom next door! Friendly people + relaxing atmosphere + fair price = happy returning customer!
