Outback Steakhouse

I love the ambiance of this Outback like all other Outbacks I’ve been to, but there are a few things that could use fixing at this particular location. First, the women’s bathroom smells really bad. It wasn’t just tonight either, the couple other times I’ve eaten at this location it has had the same bad smell. Secondly, tonight the waitress we had was very odd in an annoying way. She seemed a little spaced out, but also rude. And thirdly, my burger was really dry.

The Prime rib is very good. The baked potatoes are big and filled with sour cream, butter, chives, grated cheese and bacon bits. Its is always a crowded place and the wait is usually long. I usually have a drink, and it helps me. It is worth it tho.

I haven’t been to outback in a very long time… why did I wait so long?! My steak was cooked perfectly, the sevice was fast and friendly and the manager, David, was a pleasure to talk to. I will be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family, I am definitely coming back :)

Omg I haven’t been in the outback in 15 years neither has my girlfriend experience so far has been awesome keep you posted how it goes dinner was awesome steaks were cooked perfectly service was great bathrooms and everything else was very clean we will definitely coming back I give this place 5 stars

Waited 20 mins while host ignored us and said 5 – 10 min wait with a whole bunch of empty tables. She was on the phone the whole time and then she left the front without a word. This place don’t seem to want our business. I noticed there’s no ethnic people anywhere. Don’t want to insinuate anything, but that’s how it seems. We left after 30 mins.

Came in and was offered to seat in the bar area and not regular seating. This wasn’t impressive as there were a few loud drunks.
The bartender did come take out drink order fast and returned quickly with them and bread to take our dinner order.
Our caesar salads came out looking great. The dressing however was not smooth creamy sweet as usual with other restaurants it was runny, barely any on the salad and spicy. I only ate half as it wasn’t good.
When our dinners arrived our plates looked bare with a small steak and small sweet potato on them. Lots of empty white space and no garnish. The sweet potato was just as expected but the steak had some seasoning on it that made it way to spicy and tangy. I also had my glass empty for half my meal and asked for refill from another server.
Overall I was disappointed and wouldn’t return or recommend. Too bad they don’t have a Texas Roadhouse up here, they hands down are way better than here.

Over all the bad comments this place was awesome. They welcomed my family with a sweet smile and the service was always with a smile. The food was well cooked and tasty. I would definitely go again. Go with the family. They’re guaranteed to love it.

Excellent excellent excellent service ! Wow Is all I have to say. David the manager excellent thank you for hand delivering our amazing food. Brian thank you for taking care of us just blew us away ! And our server Jason was a blast ! What an amazing server ! He’s on it ! The food excellent ! The caesar dressing like always the best ! The blooming onion of course like always amazing that’s all pretty standardly amazing ! But there large sirloin steak was like butter as we saw it ! It was pretty much tender as tender as filet and as tasty as a rib steak but at a sirloin price ! Actually honesty it blows most filets away ! There loaded mashed potatoes were amazing too ! Defiantly impressed to say the least ! Thanks outback Burlington ! Cheers to the cold beers too!

What a major disappointment. Outback in Burlington use to be one of our favorite places. We went last night — the service was slow, and the steaks were thin — in fact mine was over cooked and tasted like liver :(I doubt that we will be back.

I liked outback when they first opened, but in the past few years, very disappointing. Wedge salad, so so. My beer was flat (new keg, too) and warm. Quesadillas, okay but nothing special or unique. Applebees might have been better, and that’s a low blow!

Normally I love this location, however yesterday we went to have dinner with a gift card we got for our wedding. First we were sat in the corner of the restaurant where no one could see us, and we were far away from anyone, a little awkward.
Our waitress was a bit silly, but she did an excellent job, until we went to pay, we had the gift card but I purposely ordered dessert so I could break my money to be able to give her a tip, however when she saw the gift card, she said «oh a gift card» and then opened to see if there was a tip, and realized that I needed change.
As for the food, my husband had the ribs, and he said they were pretty good. I had the outback burger, the actual burger was good, but I personally feel like there is way too much mustard on the bun. I ended up taking the side of the bun with mustard off, because it was over powering the burger. The French fries are really salty, and of course the blooming onion was amazing, but need more sauce to dip in.

Poor service, food quality was terrible. Received our order cold. We will no longer go to Outback.

We normally enjoy this restaurant for its happy hour menu. Today’s visit was disappointing. We arrived shortly after 4:00pm and we’re told they did not have a happy hour menu. It was unclear whether they expected to have a happy hour menu in the future.

I keep going back over and over to this location. I wish that it could be something other than disappointing. Last night I ordered the big bone rib eye. It was the worst piece of meet I have ever eaten. I have been to steakhouses all over the U.S. and never have I had a piece of meet that bad. 90%of it was truly inedible. I paid and quietly went my way because I don’t want to be that guy. My own fault. Fool me once shame on you… But this was way more than once.

Wow!!! What a great experience 2 nights in a row… I am a professional server and I must tell everyone that Kristall is an above average server who knows how to make your dining experience something to be remembered. We had such a fantastic experience the first night, we came back the next night and were just as pleased with the great food as we were the great service from Kristall. Do yourself a favour and go to the Burlington, WA Outback and try the Lobster and/​or Ahi Tuna and maybe a steak. Yummy!!! All of the servers, cooks and bartenders are professional, curtious, and down right great. Thank you so much Outback… See you all soon!, Thank you again Kristall!!!

Great service, great prices, everything I’ve tried is good. Service is good too. You can’t lose here. Gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights so do call ahead seating on those nights.

When our first lunch choice was too crowded for our impatient stomachs, I sought out Unilocal for a nearby alternative, and settled on Outback. 2 families with three hungry kids each, fresh from an active day out, my friend called ahead to see if they could accommodate. They warmly welcomed her call, and said they’d be ready for us.
2 minutes later, we arrived to find seating arranged, and friendly smiles on the greeters’ and server’s faces. An aura of calmness and patience surrounded us, as drinks were refilled without prompting, delicious, warm bread appeared as if from heaven, and a complimentary bloomin’ onion was gifted us.
Wish we weren’t out of towners, or we’d be regulars! Thanks, Ricky, and the manager whose name escapes me, for spectacular service!

I came here with my husband and a friend today. We came because of something advertised on television that started at $ 12.99. Although we couldn’t find anything like that on the menus, the food we did order was still delicious. I had a double cheeseburger with fries and it was very tasty. I don’t love the atmosphere of the restaurant though. We were sat right by the entryway to the back area where staff was allowed — probably the kitchen or dish pit. There was one employee back there that kept wailing and making weird sounds. Very loud. Although funny at first, it got annoying. Our server was gracious enough to patiently split our bill the way we wanted because we had a coupon and we all wanted to use it. Overall it was a pretty good experience. I’ll be back for the food. Hopefully the craziness in the back will have ceased by then; -)

The food was good, but a dishonest server with an air of indifference made me regret going to this restaurant. Our waiter lied to us, telling us baked potatoes are not available for lunch and sticking with his story when other servers carried baked potatoes to customers who ordered both before and after us.
Normally I do not stiff a server on the tip. If there is a problem I tell the manager when they stop by and request another server. But no manager stopped by and I don’t even know if a manager was present today.
If you want a good steak in Burlington, Washington, there are plenty of other choices where you find a staff that cares about their customers.

The other day, I had told my group that I was with that I had never been to an Outback before. Only today, I realized that I HAVE been to one before. In fact, it was this one in Burlington, WA!
Our group was in the area to run Ragnar, and it seemed like every town in the Skagit and Island counties were overrun with us lol Because we had a few-​hour break before our next run, we stopped in here since they were open late.
We were tired. Really tired. So I missed getting our waitperson’s name, but let me tell you, she was FABULOUS. She happily split our bill 6-​ways, laughed with us, didn’t comment on how stinky we were (haha!) and was all-​around awesome-​sauce.
Sigh. So very tired. I didn’t even take a picture of my pasta with chicken and vegetables – even though I AM that person taking pics of my food from 3 different angles before eating ;) It was okay; it provided all the food groups I really needed, and that’s all that matters!
The rest of the group enjoyed their food immensely. We laughed when our waitperson told us that all the Ragnarians before us were eating small sides and stuff, while we ordered full-​on MEALS. That made me love our team even more.
The food is okay, their drink menu looked nice, but for outta-​this-​world service, DO come here ^_^
