Ollie’s Bargain Outlet

Ollie’s has some great bargains. You have to browse through a large inventory of stuff to find what you want here. Some stuff in the store seemed to be priced similar to other stores, but lots of things were exceptionally cheap, I bought some pet products for about ¹⁄₃ of the pet store price.

I love this store. I always stop in to purchase my EVOO at an amazing price and always leave with a few extras, such as extra earbuds, a book, snacky items, cat toys, a phone case, laundry baskets, etc, etc, etc.
Employees are always nice. Store is always clean. Things are simple to find.

I stumbled upon Ollie’s by accident. Apparently when they opened, they did a big huge mailing but I wasn’t on the list… harrumph. I forgive them.
They have the most eclectic selection here. Of course, it’s close outs – so if you see it and want it, buy it because it will most likely be gone when you come back. Nice selection of books. Nice selection of cookware. Odd selection of clothes. Super nice selection of area rugs. Holiday items are normally cheap and cheesy – think dollar store. Wrapping paper here is see-​thru-​disappointing thin.
They do have jeans for a cracker jack price (7.99 for Levi’s? Move over Ollie!). For some reason they carry more clothing items for men than women. What gives Ollie?
They also have a huge selection of bedding, but it seems like a lot of cotton/​poly blends which isn’t my thing. They do have close outs on small appliances. My daughter bought a flat iron here for a too-​good-​to-​imagine price. Many months later, it’s still working much better than my high-​priced one. I loved hers so much, I went back for one for myself.
Like most close out places, it’s hit or miss. The manager is great, and the staff clearly seems to enjoy working there. STEER CLEAR of the free coffee – it is sure to put some hair on your chest if it doesn’t kill you first.
If you’re passing through the area, definitely stop in. If nothing else, you’ll get a chuckle of the selection. But chances are you’ll walk out with a good quality bargain.
