Ok, so where do I start… Back in «the day» I used to be in really good shape… but then I graduated from college, got a desk job… and shortly after all that I got married and had 2 kids in the span 3 years. Somewhere in all that I gained and lost weight but after having 2 kids I was(and still kind of am) worn out. So this is how their program works and what saved me. 1. You have set workout times, so if I’m feeling tired and lazy and just want to sit on the couch after the kids go to bed — too bad, you’re going to work out. 2. You weigh-in every 2 weeks — so you’re accountable to someone other than yourself. 3. The weight-training is amazing. Steve, my trainer, is always pushing me to the next level and it’s exactly what I want and need. I’ve been going for 6 month now and he’s still coming up with new exercises and ways to challenge me. 4. The diet plan. This has totally revolutionized my way of eating. I cannot believe I did not gain more weight eating the way I was eating before. I have so much more energy and I feel so much better about the way I eat. When I have a cheat meal and eat more like the way I used to — I feel the difference immediately. I’m sluggish and it’s actually not that enjoyable to eat the way I used to. Over time you start seeing the same faces of the other women working out and you develop little friendships here and there and that makes it enjoyable as well. I signed up for an entire year, even though I’ve almost lost all the weight I want to because I don’t want to fall back into my old ways,(which I know I would) in regard to making time to exercise and pushing myself.
