Its a very festive, happy place and always crowded. They have parties, and celebrations. They take reservations. Their food is great, margaritas fantastic and its a great place to eat!!! I love to eat there.

I love the food here, the staff is super nice. The food here reminds me of a resturaunt where I lived in californina. This place is the best I’ve had so far out here

This is a good restaurant… the food is very good. Service can be a little slow sometimes because they get pretty busy at times but the food usually comes quickly and hot!

Very poor service, stood in the door for 5 minutes, finally a guest told us to sit. Then sat there for another 5 plus minutes before someone acknowledged us. So, close to walking out but had a gift certificate. The margarita was not good. The food was ok, the burritos and enchiladas always have a lot of fillers — potatoes. Second time of very, very poor service. Pricing is sketchy — no pricing on drinks.

This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant around. That being said in the last three or four years the service has gone downhill and when I say downhill I mean all the way to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I have gone in there and sat at there waiting lounge for over 30 minutes before without being even talked to when the place is completely empty!!! The food is still decent, but I would say to stay away from this place because of the complete lack of service, and when you do get service they’re not what I would call pleasant. I tried to go there for take out after I realized what a horrible service they had and they messed up my orders so many times that I just don’t go anymore.

When I went in yesterday we were the only customers at the restaurant and surprisingly the service still was slow. Also there was no music playing at all which can make a lunch date sorta awkward. Besides that though the food was delicious and the price wasn’t to bad either.

Salsa was crazy good. The house special burrito was massive enough food for two. Reminded me of great Mexican food I can get in Albuquerque. Will come again.

Yes the food is fine, but the service is not so good. I think the problem rests in the layout of the room, where the staff is well away from the entrance, and remain unaware when people arrive. They also don’t see the booths where people are seated. The Mount Vernon location is where I will continue to eat.

This was disappointing! We were seated right away but that is the only good I can say. My husband ordered a Pepsi, and was never asked if he wanted a refill. The food came out quickly, and thank goodness because the chips were very stale. The food was ok but my daughter had ordered a tamale off the children’s menu which tasted like it was 4 months old. No one ever checked back with us to see how we were doing. Thankfully there was enough other food that she got enough to eat. There were three other women who were working but all if them stood un the back. This was very disappointing. My family and I will never go back.

Had lunch here after viewing the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, when all the Mt. Vernon restaurants were way too crowded. There was a slight delay when we waited to be seated and I had reservations, but to my relief, the rest of the meal was great. Incidently, as soon as we were seated by a very friendly waitress, 4 more diners arrived, also looking for a less crowded atmosphere! DH had the chimichanga/rellenos, complete with sour cream and guacamole. I had the rellanos/enchillada combo, no complaints, big portions and very tasty. We ate 2 bowls of chips, not because of any delay in service, but because they were so fresh and warm with a tasty salsa. We used to like the place across the street years ago, but that place has changed ownership and looked deserted, sad.

(Note: I think this location has gone through a management change since I was there a few months ago so it MIGHT be better) Our experience… Horrible service! My husband and I went here a few times. We would walk in the door and the bell would ring. The place would be empty and still nobody would come to serve us. We would hear them laughing in the back. I walked outside and came back in to have the bell ring again but still no service. This happened all three times… the first two times I had to walk to the back and let them know we were there. The last time we walked in, the place smelled like urine, and still no service. We walked out and I called them from the car and complained. Also our server the two times we actually ate there didn’t speak a word of English. She understood the names of the food and that was it. Food is good but TOTALLY not worth the trouble! We now go to the one in Mt. Vernon which is soooo much better.
