Great custard, I make the drive out from Kenosha at least once a week(sometimes just for this treat). Way better than ice cream. Very thick, the thickest I’ve eaten(not a complaint). Remember it’s not ice cream, it’s custard. They are different!

Rich and creamy excellent chocolate custard. The vanilla and flavors like the candy bar scoop could use some work. –Didn’t even finish the cone. We like to visit here every time we are in Wisconsin. But now that our kids are 7 they weren’t allowed to order the smaller size cone(five and under only) We got 2 small cones that were way too large for our kids to eat w/o dripping everywhere. when we asked for a dish to put them in we were charged $.10 per plastic dish. Not bad but not great either which is a bummer because our kids love to make this visit a tradition.

People love this place? Huh. We stopped when driving by going to Walmart while camping in Bong Recreation area. Frozen custard? Yes! Wait. There’s only three flavors everyday? Vanilla, chocolate… and cherry amaretto cordial? Ew. I hope that they have better flavors of the day than that. My little dude got a small cone and I thought it was unremarkable. My dude got a chocolate shake which turned into just vanilla with chocolate syrup. Why wouldn’t you use the chocolate custard? Our friends got milkshakes that were overpoweringly sweet. Like, hurt my teeth. Too much for me. I ended up not ordering anything because after sampling I decided I’d rather not waste the calories. Ok but unremarkable.

if you’re in the area, you Must stop at Adrian’s. I have been going here since I was a kid and it’s always a treat. The custard is rich and decadent and there are enough sundae options to satisfy everyone.

Stopped at this little gem last night. Some of the best custard I’ve had in the area and rivals Leon’s in Milwaukee. There isn’t much else to say what everyone hasn’t already said… Go check it out for yourself! I saw one of the workers, an older woman(in her 60s, 70s, or 80s?), taking her smoke break out back. She had a hot box going in her old, rusty minivan. High quality entertainment while enjoying my cone? Oh yes… I like.

this is by far the best custard ever. anyone who begs to differ is plain crazy. it is creamy, flavorful, high quality ingreients and toppings. if it says berries, its actual berries. if it says toffee, its actual toffee. if it says pecans, its actual pecans. besides flavor and quality, its just home. nothing has changed in appearance since i moved to Burlington in ’85. the only bad thing… its not open year round… and boy could i go for a red raspberry scoop right now!!!

I don’t understand all the fuss. It is basically higher quality soft serve ice cream. Flavor didn’t seem particularly unique or strong. Toppings were generic. Great place for kids. The three girls working there couldn’t have been a day over 16, so I got a real earful regarding who is dating who and OMG and can you believe it and no way!

Coming back from the Jimmy Buffet concert at Alpine Valley and we ran across Adrian’s Frozen Custard. OMG, my aunt and I got so excited because this is the little custard place we use to visit all the time when my Grandparents had a house there. We HAD to stop and get some of course. We walked in and it had not changed at all from the last time we were there, and that was probably 10 years ago! I ordered chocolate custard with sprinkles and hot fudge, and it was only 3 bucks, glad to see thier prices hadnt changed that much either. My aunt got the turtle sundae, which was also amazing, topped with whipped cream. If you are getting a sundae you can probably split it with someone, they are pretty big.

Hey all you tourists in Lake Geneva! Drive 15 minutes out of your way for a truly tasty treat! Adrian’s is a family run business that has been a staple in B-town for the past 20 years. I always get a strawberry shake, the fresh macerated strawberries make the shake to die for!

Hands down the best frozen custard you will find on this planet. I’ve been going here for about 26 years now and it’s still as great as ever. The best is the vanilla chocolate twist cone, or finding out the butter pecan is the flavor of the day. If you’re not in the mood for a cone I highly suggest the flurry. Its a big cup of custard mixed with whatever you want like cookie dough or oreos. I was making the trip from Chicago to Madison and went about an hour and a half an of the way just to come here. And If you do go, you can hang out in the back and enjoy or take a walk across the street to Echo Lake Park. It’s only like a half hour from Lake Geneva so if that’s your destination make a side trip here.

This is the best yummiest ice cream ever. its a blast to order a giant chocolate cone and sit and watch the people or traffic go by. My little girl loves to go here, and feels like a big girl with her giant custard cone.:)

I go through withdrawal from this place when it closes through the winter. It’s simply the best custard you’re going to find in the midwest. While others come close, family-owned Adrian’s custard is a one-of-a-kind gem. Highlights include the turtle pecan sundae, red raspberry sundae(with pecans), and straight up butter pecan custard. The hot fudge is out of this world. If you’re feeling extra indulgent, go for the waffle cone and shake it up with some rainbow sprinkles. Just remember to bring cash because that’s the only currency they accept(no plastic!). Ready, set, go!

It was good custard, but it didn’t knock our socks off. We both had sundaes. I had the Black Forest sundae and Christopher had the Heath bar sundae. We were both overwhelmed with the richness, which is a plus to many people, I get that, but a little went a long way. If I ever stop back here again, it will be a single scoop. In my dotage, I have become a single scooper, party pooper.

Years after leaving Burlington, I come home for just a few things– my parents, Brown’s Lake, and Adrian’s Custard. With relatives in town from the Philippines, you can indulge yourself in the local favorites you usually avoid to keep your tummy tucked. In this instance, the creamy smooth not-too-sweet cup of Adrian’s custard is a stateside, Wisconsin phenomenon that cannot be missed. We had the hot fudge sundae and the raspberry sundae with vanilla custard. It is my belief that you should keep it simple with the dressings if the canvass is already near perfection. It was as wonderful as I always remembered it from my high school days. It’s totally worth a trip from Chicago!

I have dreams about Adrian’s if I wait too long too visit. As a child, this was a destination for my family. It remains so for me because it is one of the few constants I’ve experienced. Always the same, and always good. Even the lady behind the counter… the same. Adrian’s epitomizes summer. …oh, and it is the best Frozen Custard you are going to find for 50 miles in any direction. Case closed.

Excellent Frozen Custard. I had vanilla, great stuff, and a big cone for the money. No, it is not miraculous, but as Frozen Custard, it is great. Hence the 5 stars. We used to have Julie Ann’s in McHenry County, IL, which was wonderful. This is as good. Culver’s is a notch down. Plus it’s a family business, support the locals.

HOLYCRAP!!! F-ING AMAZING!!! This would hands down be my last meal on earth. My family drives an hour just for a visit to Adrian’s and it’s sooo worth it. Also, you can get quarts of the stuff which is FANTASTIC!
