I highly recommend this place — Ive had the Reuben, Pulled pork and banh mi — all were great. The interior is clean and modern, and the staff are also friendly. Be sure to call in your order before your lunch break.

The place has good décor, like cute farmhouse with long wooden tables, and lots of natural light. I’ve been there twice, each time ordering the Taylor burger to go. The first time, they forgot the bacon and the sauce. The second time, they severely undercooked the burger. So it seems they’re not able to cook their food as listed on the menu or to order. They are very understaffed when it comes to the lunch time rush and there are only 2 waitresses, creating long wait times. I will only go back to this place as a last resort.

Thank you for your continued sweet service and great food. Favorites are the Toasty Tuna sandwich. The French fries are awesome. They happily provide a side garden salad when I want a healthier option. The veggie burger has good flavor but the bun to patty ratio is a little off for my taste. Lunch special, calamari tacos with black beans and rice and a side sales is my favorite so far. The prices are in line with the quality of food. All of the desserts are tasty. This is my go to spot for coffee and lunch in the area.

I’d crawl across the freeway to get here. Happened to be next door to offer a thank you for a very generous donation and it turns out the donor Pamela(CuisineStyle by Pamela Keith) also is the chef at the café next door. And by café, I mean cute, clean, friendly, wish there was one in every town I’ve ever lived, café. Had the chicken bahn mih, coleslaw and a chocolate cherry cookie. Everything was fantastic. Looking forward to coming back very very soon.

Litterally the cutest little café I have ever been to. Was walking pretty far away looking for a place to eat and noticed the adorable yellow umbrellas. My friend and I went over there right away. We were so happy. The food selection is amazing. The décor is amazing. The presentation of food is great. Service was fabulous. I’m so sad I’m not from around here. I would be here every day

Fantastic food and fast service. The kale salad was delicious and healthy, not too much dressing. I had the special of the day which was slow roasted pork belly with Moroccan spices and fruited cous cous. I will be a regular here.

Love this place. I like the turkey BLT with nice thick slices of bacon and the light, tangy cole slaw. I sampled my friends’ beef bourgignon and it was out of this world. Really cute décor with big windows and an airy, modern vibe. Huge, tasty cookies to finish off the meal. Wish I worked closer so I could come here more often!

Food here is ok, but overpriced. Example: A piece of chicken breast here costs $ 5 basically. When Francesco’s was still around I could get that same chicken for half the price. Place would also be a lot better if they had more variation to their menu, like plate lunches. Salads and sandwiches get really boring after a while. Also it’s been a couple of months and still no breakfast options. Another thing: one kind of soup for an entire month? Yawn. Francesco’s wasn’t exactly the best deli, but I enjoyed going there because they always had special lunches and a better selection of food than Taylor’s currently has. I would return if this place expanded on their menu but for now, there are better cheaper options out there.

Taylor’s Bay is a great place if you want to take a little break from work to relax and forget about your crazy day! The interior of this little restaurant is ADORABLE with wooden tables and succulent centerpieces and the food is even better. I, personally, can’t get enough of their tuna melts(I recommend it to everyone, I’m starting to sound like a broken record) and everything else I’ve tried is great and also at a reasonable price! The service is quick and I’ve never had a mistake in my order. I would recommend picking up an espresso brownie while you’re there to save for later. You won’t regret it. Seriously. Get the brownie.

Taylor’s Bay Café is a fresh breeze blown right into the neighborhood. The food here is outstanding. My favorite is the Taylor burger(huge) and flavorful. My friend had the best grilled cheese sandwich that I’ve ever tasted. I work in the area and this is my new go-to for lunch. Very clean and bright décor, very friendly too.

I work around the corner from Taylor’s Bay Café and have visited a couple times. I have to say, I am surprised at some of the reviews I have read. This place is so great! Adorable and sunny to walk into. Much more calm than the place before, which is nice in the middle of your work day. The first day I went because a co-worker told me about an email she got saying the special was Beef Tenderloin Stroganoff. It was AMAZING! I wish they would bring it back! The second time I got the Chicken Bahn Mih which was really good as well. If you work in the area, I would definitely give them a shot. I know I’ll be back!

I was really looking forward to Taylor’s Bay Café & Deli, for the simple fact that Joe’s Café is the only other place near by from where I work. I work around the area and walked over for the first time around lunch time. I was standing for about three to five minutes(No one else in line) when I was finally asked if I was ready to order. The main reason I hadn’t ordered was because the two girls working at the front were too busy talking and it appeared as if their conversation was more important than taking an order. The food here is actually pretty good, yet a little pricey. I ordered the The Taylor $ 12.95(Burger) with fries $ 3.00 and it came out to a little over $ 16, with no drink included. $ 16 for a burger and fries, with no drink included? That’s just not right in my opinion. All in all, the food was great but I did not appreciate the customer service this place provides. As I was giving my order to the cashier, I asked her how business was going(Considering that they are still new) and I told her I worked near by and heard nice things about Taylor’s Bay. She completely ignored what I said to her, and she replied back by telling me how much I owed for the burger and fries. I’ve read a few other Taylor’s Bay reviews, and a few people have mentioned their dissatisfaction with their customer service. Having worked in customer service in the past, I know how important it is to attend to a customer. Especially at a restaurant where people come in hungry and want to be served as soon as possible. As mentioned earlier, the food was great, yet a little expensive and I would work on your guys’ customer service skills if you want more foot traffic to come in. Maybe being a little more attentive to who comes in and just being friendly.

I work in an office near Taylor’s Bay and was looking forward to their opening. The café itself is really swanky and welcoming, but the service could be better. I ordered a club sandwich and it was fantastic, but my two colleagues’ orders were disappointing. One asked for an egg sandwich with no onions, but it had onions, so she sent it back. My other colleague ordered a banh mi without meat since she’s vegetarian… I guess the staff didn’t think of compensating for the lack of meat by adding extra vegetables because her sandwich literally had a few pieces of shredded lettuce and shredded carrot. Sandwiches also took a really long time to make their way out of the kitchen. I’m hoping Taylor’s Bay will get their act together because we need a decent sandwich place around here!

Underwhelmed by small portions which consisted of bread primarily with very scant meat and veggies, just bread and sauce for signature sandwich which would embarrass any real Vietnamese sandwich. Coleslaw was tasty and the staff was nice, just need to sex up a $ 10 sandwich a bit.

Was glad this place opened since there’s not many options nearby. The turkey sandwich I had was good — they use diestel turkey– but they earned the 4 stars cause of the *delicious* pickled veggies that came with the sandwich. Nice touch! A little peppery and zingy. I would definitely try this place again ti see how the salads are.

Work across the street and was happy when this place opened up. The deli that was there originally became less than mediocre. Went in for a normal sandwich that was $ 10.00. It was good, but nothing special. I will go back cause it’s convenient, aside from that I wouldn’t.

What a sunshiney place! It’s on the other side of 101 but could just as well be in the south of France. It’s got a great European vibe to it: Gorgeous beet salad, triple cheese melt sandwiches(when one is not enough), scrumptious cookies and mini ganache cakes, plus wine if you want it. The service is smiling. The food is unimprovable. Even the gorgeous yellow seats are more-ish! Go go go.

We were part of a very busy lunch crowd on the Friday of their first week in business. What an amazing surprise to find it so well organized and humming along. The venue was bright, clean and welcoming. Most impressive was the gourmet quality menu… lots of fresh, bright salads and an array of sandwich options. We chose a gourmet burger and a patty melt which were grilled according to our specifications. Saved room also for Pamela’s famous cookies with an excellent cappuccino. Yum on all fronts…

Went in there at lunch hour. A small group was already eating. One person was waiting for his food. Three women at the counter… 1 checking her phone, the other made herself some coffee, and the third wandered aimlessly without doing much. Mine and the other person’s hot food sat for over 10 mins ready… I didn’t know it was mine otherwise I would have said something. They seemed irritated to have to work. I wanted to yank my tip out of the tip jar! I happened to look into the kitchen and saw the chef touch his face, rub his nose, then wipe his hand on the towel he was wearing. Gross… Asked how much are the salads… They did not know. They were not on the menu. They said each one is different and they had to weigh it. Whoever rushed this place together does not know much about food service, hygiene, or customer service. I give it less than a year. In the meanwhile go to Max’s for an awesome Ruben sandwich. Yum!

Taylor’s Bay is open, as a tenant in the office building across the street I am happy that this place has finally opened its doors. It has been very nicely remodeled and looks clean and trendy. Sandwiches, salad bar, coffee and burgers(they say breakfast coming soon). My first order was a #8 Reubenesque sandwich with coleslaw($ 9.95). Excellent tasting, the reuben sandwich size was small but the flavor was huge, and the coleslaw was amazing, I want the recipe(vinegary rather then sweet) I loved it. Next time I will try the salad bar.
