. Turns out, she also had two cool grandmothers, whose names were Stella and Dot. Long story short, she started a fun, totally sassy, retro-​modern jewelry and accessory business named after them: last year, Stella & Dot was born!
I’ve been a fan since I first saw pictures of a couple bracelets in the last year in issues of «InStyle» and «Lucky» (my two fashion Bibles). A friend recently told me she started working for them as a Stylist — selling jewelry in her spare time, basically — and last week I decided to do the same.
I adore all things pretty, and am big on jewelry. Given the disclaimer above, I will let you judge Stella & Dot for yourself. I will say this from my own experience as an expert shopper, and not speaking as an invested business person: I am a big fan of their super-​fast order and delivery system (online ordering is VERY easy, unlike some sites), the generous return policy (30-​days, full refund or exchange, after that store credit), and the really friendly and helpful customer service people.
Plus, if you remember my penchant for adorable stationery, you will understand why I think the gift boxes and packaging are so adorable (when you take the first «lid» off a bracelet box, the inside flap says «You are so gorgeous» — how can you not love that?!!). Most items are under $ 50 (over half the new fall line is) and they regularly do sales.
