My plate is always FULL and they always try to give me the freshest food. It’s usually clean in there and parking isn’t bad at all although it’s either street parking or the small parking lot in the back. Anyways, great food and good customer service.

Yay! I’m so happy to say that I can finally give this place four stars. And I am giving them this rating after going here maybe six or eight more times since my last review. Somebody over there must have got the message a few months back, because the food has been consistently good and all of the dishes are fresh — and they almost always have brown rice! Thank you panda express for stepping it up at this location! I really appreciate it. :)

Eh it’s Panda Express … Watd you expect? Fast, affordable and they have some healthier options. This location is pretty clean though the staff could be a little more friendly at times

Came here for lunch. Ordered my usual ordered. Fried rice, orange chicken and spring rolls. I liked that there was not line here when I got here. The Panda Express locations inside a mall seem to have long lines. This location is one of the best Panda Express locations I have been to.

If you’re in Burlingame especially Burlingame Avenue and want a quick and affordable meal, Panda Express is the way to go. It’s not the best food in the area or authentic Chinese food, but you can order a 2 item combo meal for $ 8 – 10, and unlike all other restaurants there is no pressure to tip as there is no tipping option.

This is not worst panda! The portions are very small and quality is terrible. The stall is very unfriendly… Very disappointed

Poor customer service, the middle eastern lady has zero customer service skills, very rude. How come every time I go after 6 pm there isn’t any more hot and sour soup? Never fails. Can’t they make another batch? Or at least half a batch?

Ordered take-out for five. Was given the bag to go closed and got home and realized they did not give us everything we ordered. Also, while picking up the order I ordered a non-sugar ice tea, but they were out at noon, which seemed odd. Not happy we were charged for items we did not receive. Also, service was slow. Will not shop here again.

Always delicious eventhough it’s greasy… their ribs and steak and beef + the popular Orange Chicken… veggie roll and the Fortune Cookies … Very affordable too. Only down part is they have Chinese crew who don’t know how to smile… it makes the day lighter you know…

I came in at 830pm with a big to go order. Even though they were closing soon Alvaro took great care of me and made sure that my order was made fresh. I didn’t mind waiting a little bit for my multiple orders. Great service Alvaro!

Old asian lady got an attitude every single time I come in. Not even just with me. You forgot to give me my fortune cookie and then you gonna give me attitude when I ask for one? Next time make sure I get my damn fortune cookie! Next time give me my fortune cookie and smile or I will escalate by speaking to corporate!

TERRIBLE&RUDECUSTOMERSERVICE — The old lady behind the counter didn’t greet me at all, so I said«Hi :)» and with a frown goes«Wait! I’m doing something.» She proceeds to clean the counter. When she was done after 5min, I politely asked for a just a side of chow mein and the old lady put it in a plate and asked what entrée. I said«oh I just wanted a side.» And she rolled her eyes and had a frown the whole time, and with attitude she goes«Anything else?» I politely said«oh no, that’s all. Thank you» and she let’s out a big sigh with a disgusting look on her face. I don’t know why, but she is ALWAYS rude when I go there. It seems like she’s only nice to people of white decent. So rude.

Panda Express has always had great food. I couldn’t find any flaws. Although what made me give then 2 stars is their customer service. I politely asked to change the pot stickers to orange chicken then the lady gave a huge sigh and when I apologized she said«Oh My God.!» She rolled her eyes and gave a fit. Literally just for some fricken chicken… Disappointed honestly… I would also like to add that the one lady seems to only appreciate white people more than any other race and she isn’t white!

I have been going to this one for a while, most of the time the food is good. Today the chow mein was a little over cooked but overall it was still great.

I’ve even here about three times. Staff have been pretty friendly,(say hello and goodbye), smile, etc. food has always been solid and fresh. Definite Step up from Safeway’s version of panda express at about the same cost. Also just a really cool downtown area of Burlingame with a lot of things to do after a meal. Great place to get filled up for under 10 bucks if you’re in the area.

I decided to have Panda Express in Burlingame CA cater my baby shower and I am so glad I did. My hostess had about 30 guests to feed so we went with the large party package: 4 entrees and 4 sides. We had a few other appetizers from elsewhere, but Panda Express was our main course. They delivered for free, threw in a huge bag of fortune cookies, provided all of the serving utensils, and arrived 15 minutes early. The food was fresh, super hot, and all of my guests love it. If you’re planning a party on a budget and want a low maintenance meal that tastes good and will satisfy a variety of palates, I definitely would go with Panda Express.

Keep your receipt and fill-out the online survey. The next time you visit, bring the old receipt with the code you received from online survey for a single free entrée of your choice. Service is not reliable: sometimes it’s great, sometimes bleeegh! During busy times, the cashier cannot handle the check-out process(usually only 1 person handling the register and yet have to serve drinks and this and that). The portion given is not too generous either during said time. So come when it’s less crowded. The food was great though. Just avoid the dishes/trays that have been sitting on the steam table too long(you can tell by looking at it). They usually very soggy & greasy. Try other kinds or wait for a new one to be cooked. However, this location is definitely better than the other Pandas at the malls.

Why the negative 2 star reviews y’all? When you show up to Jack in the Beezy, do you have expectations of a Kobe beef burger served up mid rare? Crispy fresh cut french fries and a delicious Hazelnut shake? Tacos as good as your abuela’s? Of course not. It’s kinda like Jewels from Pulp Fiction. «Does Mr. Wallace look like a bitch to you Brad?» If you get that line, I don’t need to drop the F bomb that follows. Panda is not authentic anything. They can rattle cages all day and claim to serve up fresh this and fresh that. The fridge loaded with color coded boxes of veggies is a bit deceptive, but I’m on to you. It’s semi fresh mostly frozen food served up quick style. That’s it. It’s not fancy by any stretch and when I walk through those doors, I know what’s gonna hit the plate. The plate will be loaded to the brim with food that I don’t want to like, that I know I shouldn’t bother with, but I actually do enjoy. It’s going to be salty, slathered with thick sauce and it’s gonna probably cost about $ 10. I can try to eat the healthy options and fool myself if I’d like, I can go all in and order up 1,500 calories. either way, I know what’s what. Thinking it’s going to be anything other than cheap eats is my own mischievous mind playing tricks on yours truly.

This panda is not an express, moving more like a sloth or koala. I first came here for a late night dinner on the way home. That time, they miscalculated my order at the register, kept me longer in the process, and I only learned once home that I was overcharged in the end. I didn’t care, but that’s just bad. Came back a second time 2 months later, hoping for better business. I followed their written instructions on the wall, which are blatantly laid out step by step. Instead, the lady thought I was only getting the side dish(which it specifically asks for first before choosing the main dishes), and packed accordingly. The main dish I wanted, broccoli beef, took another 10 minutes to be prepared(so I thought). When I got home again, I learned I didn’t get broccoli beef at all. It was mushrooms! Been here twice, and they got it wrong both times. What a shame.

Normally I would see a Panda Express in a food court at the mall. But this location looks more like an actual restaurant. I got to give the Asian franchise credit for making use of the current space. It is also awkward to see a fast food franchise in an enchanting area like family-friendly Burlingame Avenue. Well, I’m wrong. There is a KFC in the Marina District, but I don’t like KFC: especially that Marina location. Indeed the franchise makes necessary and cute use of the place with pandas from left and right. Pictures posted all over the wall. And a bunch of cute stuffed panda doll displays for the younger crowds. Panda display:
For lunch, I ordered the three-entrée meal for $ 7.25. I chose the popular Orange Chicken, 2 pieces of vegetarian egg rolls and the new Kobari Beef. The orange chicken is fried chicken meat glazed in an orange sauce. The Kobari beef has marinated beef strips with chopped peppers, mushrooms and leeks in a spicy sauce. My meal was decent and nothing too eye-catching about it. My meal: As usual and despite being chilly and windy, Burlingame Avenue was busy on Saturday. I could go to any adjoining peninsula cities for a meal, but I had a «once in a bluest moon» craving for Panda Express.
