I called Kristi’s looking for a children’s clothing store in the area and was told that the Burlingame location has closed then was hung up on. It’s too bad, it seems like it would be a great spot.

When my favorite children’s clothing store, Jacadi, closed recently, I was so sad. I really loved the quality and uniqueness of Jacadi. I happened to find Kristi recently while out and about in downtown Burlingame. I rarely drive in the alley street where it’s located so I was pleasantly surprised to find this quaint store! I didn’t have time to fully look around and buy anything on this venture but I am definitely heading back with my toddler! They have really cute stuff there!!! Although Gymboree and Janie and Jack are cute for daily wear, for outings or special occasions, I like to dress my darling up a tad bit!
This is my new fav store in Burlingame!

It was the balloons outside the store that caught the attention of my son because within seconds he was screaming out of excitement for one. So, I stopped in and started to look around. I noticed that they carry some great kids clothing by Kenzo, Petit Bateau, Jarcardi and Little Giraffe blankets.
I stocked up on larger sizes of Petit Bateau onesies which were normal prices, but they did have a large section of the store on sale at 50% and I scored a couple of shirts and a balloon:).
This is a great place to get some nice outfits and basics, but it’s a tad difficult to actually see the clothing since it’s all on racks and you have to look through the clothing to see what they have. Also, the Petit Bateau items were laying on the bottom shelf (so close to the floor) and hard to see what they offered. The store must be new, so I’m looking forward to stopping in again and checking out what the next season brings for children’s clothing.
